Have you thought about kitbashing the Basilisk Heavy Lander? It has enough interior space that you could put down a floor within the open space in the upper forward half of its interior bay, then use wall sections from sets like the SFCS to divide that upper space into multiple rooms like crew quarters, a galley & dining area, med bay, etc. By kitbashing from other sets you can also fill up some of that cavernous interior with stuff like storage tanks, power reactor cores, and other typical starship systems, and still have a lot of cargo space available.

Really like what you did there,  retasking it as a bigger ship.  Gives it alot of usefulness!

Thanks First Bastion. I even had a back-story as to why the two ships had the same design, but have since forgotten the details. The ship works well as designed and specified, but, it also lent itself the best to the rescaling.

I could imagine far future licensing concerns where if they can manage to scale up a ship design they can avoid fees. ;)

As a matter a fact, i did.  But the more i studied it, the more i couldnt get my mind around to accept the exterior of the ship for my purposes.  It just didnt fit my overall vision.
