Jepe's BeddingZ Round Bed

This product looks absolutely stunning. I love that I have an easier option than using finicky dynamic cloth to get a realistic bedding drape. That said, I have no use for a round bed. I would buy this product in a heartbeat if it came in a traditional rectangular version, particularly if the included poses were of people sleeping in normal positions. If the PA happens to see this thread, any chance that's in the works? Pretty please?

This one is meant to be used with the square Deco Bed (which is $1.99 for PC+ members).
It's for G2 but if you have a pose converter it would work for G3.
Thanks Divamakeup. I do have a pose converter and that set, and it's very nice...but...most of the poses and drapes are a bit too riské and manly for my G3 female character.
Thank you for your nice words, Melissa. I really appreciate your feedback and I understand, I think. But I have to be honest, this "Gothic Edition" is not in any way "traditional". Only two of the pair poses are "normal" sleeping positions (Pose 11 and Pose 13), with all other poses I tried to tell a story about the relationship between the characters, especially counting in the darker fantasy and goth side - leaving enough space for the imagination of the user to make his own interpretations. For the rectangular beds, well, we already have enough of those, every bedroom comes with a rectangular bed and we've had enough over the last months, especially for Iray. I don't want to step on anyone's toes to repeat something that is already there and well done, I have to be as different and original as possible. I hope you understand. :) I indeed have three other beds that I would love to complete with beddings and poses, but they are all round. And they won't come that soon because of other projects I want to finish first. :)
Just to toss my 2cents in, I really like the look of this bed and the poses, but, like Melissa, the round bed just has zero appeal. I guess in an artistic sense, it's much more interesting, but if you are shooting for something more ordinary or realistic, that round bed just seems unlikely except in a setting where sleeping isn't seriously expected like a honeymoon suite. As for the gazillions of square beds, most don't have separate bedding, much less properly messy morphs. So, our only options are to try to use a cloth simulator (poser) which usually doesn't match the "made up" bed very well. And poses like those you've provided require a huge amount of work and probably won't look nearly as good as yours do.
So, while I totally understand you making things you like and fit your vision, there is a market out there for this sort of thing, but a little more day-to-day style for those PAs who may be reading this thread.
Jepe- I love the storytelling in the poses and promo pics! They actually sold me not only on the bed, but also on Lillith, who I had resisted buying. She looks great with Lucian (who I purchased yesterday.) Great job on the product and the promos! Looks amazing!
Well, as I made my researches I found a lot of wonderful round bed solutions, from modern to aristocratic - if only I would have the room I would love to have one in real life ;) - so why not have a few of those for our beloved 3D people. And as I searched for "gothic bed" at Pinterest, it simply was overwhelming what cool styles through all the different decades exist(ed). Below are only a very very few of those... :)
Thank you very much, Llynara. :)
Jepe I love your sets, I was just playing with G3M Wondersheetz and Project Hairy 456, and I have the G3M Beddingz set, but like some of the others the round bed doesn't do it for me. When I use Beddingz I frame it so you can't see it is round. I can understand your points but it would already be bought if it had come with a standard bed, even a king size. :-) I guess a rectangular bed is more versatile to me. At the moment it is sitting in my wishlist, sorry.
You don't have to be sorry, Meg, we all have our own tastes, otherwise world would be so boring. :D And to be honest, it's not so much about the bed with this set, as you can see in all the promos I made, the bed is never in a leading role, it's all about the characters and their relationship, to tell a story with emotions and body language. If the round bed forces you to zoom in and to closely frame the scene - that's cool! Dare to do that more often! :)
I completely understand your need to be different and original, and did not mean to put you on the defensive. You do really great work and I thought I'd toss out a request for a more plebeian version just in case you were open to it. Thanks so much for your response.
I think I have covered a lot of "normal" sleeping poses for G3F Victoria 7 already with her own BeddingZ set, although her bed is also round. This is a "plebeian version" IMO, otherwise - show me sample images or photos what exactly do you mean with that - I'm always open for suggestions and ideas!
I will take another look at the poses for G3F's BeddingZ set, thank you. Other than the poses, I was just hoping for your wonderful bedding on a square bed. I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.
I just wanted to support the others asking for a rectangular bed with some "boring" positions. I ***love*** the Wondersheetz and all the draping sets. Drapery is one of my favorite things to paint in 2D and I love to play with it in 3D. I also didn't buy the round bed versions simply because of that. I even love bedding without a character, but maybe I'm a little strange. I'm thinking of trying to do my own drapery; what do you use to do yours (if you don't mind my asking)?
Thanks for all your wonderful work!
Haha, thank you Dancing Cat, then I'm too a little strange - see below, who wouldn't love to!
I use Marvelous Designer for the draping.
We need more Genesis 3 bedding with proper blankets that cover the body and poses in general
