Scale Animation Timeline

Hi,

just wondering if there is a way to scale the timeline with all its keyframes (i.e. turning a 1 second, 30 frame animation into a 10 second, 300 frame animation, simply scaling up the existing keyframes linearly)

Is that possible in Daz Studio 4.9 Pro?

  • Not built-in, but I'm pretty sure Casual has a script for it.

with the daz built in timeline you can add, remove and skip keyframes , but you can not expand the timeline in the daz default timeline.  The animate 2 or animate plus timeline  you can add remove , skip and join keyframes . you can change the speed of the timeline , and with keymate and graphmate plugins you can even break the keyframes down into their individual components for further editing..  But you can not expand the animation that is already created or applied on the timeline ..

As Richard has advised Mr casual ( mCasual's Daz Scripts ) may have a script for expanding the timeline .

Thank you! Geez, that dude has a LOT of stuff!
    Shame it's not organized well.

For people also looking for this, the script is here: https://sites.google.com/site/mcasualsdazscripts2/mcjretimeanimation

I just tried it, it didn't quite work 100%, some morphs are completely off, time wise (resulting in desynchronization overall) - but maybe that's just a problem with my project
