Render Studio Iray problem in DS 4.9.3.166

I've noticed a problem with the Render Studio Iray "Infinity Cove" backdrop in DS 4.9.3.166. There used to be a smooth transition between the grey colors, not there are some sharp lines at the bottom. Any idea what is causing this?

    Yep, I am getting the same thing. Also tried adding smoothing modifier on it, didn't help any. Adding subd made it worse. First one is subd, second one is smoothing.

    Happened to the one I made for myself as well, tho not quite as drastic.

    Hmmmm, maybe the mesh is just too thin. I looked at a bunch of other stuff with smooth curves, and didn't see the same artifact happenning. One thing I found that helps is a little, is turning off thin walled in the surface options.
