What do you mean?
the office, the top photo is DAZ3D's office off Facebook
Well, it might, but then, digitallabs office looks rather generic to me, it looks like a lot of companies I've seen.
The Digitallab Design Studio model is far too tidy and posh for DAZ.
For the top one, the hair is so realistic. Actually a lot of details are so realistic I think it is a photo. For the bottom one it is too clean and nice to be a photo.
and those expressions
Top one looks like a compositted image from photographs to my inexpert eye.
yes the giant jar is rather odd
I think DAZ work in a dingey dungeon and just posted fake facebook photos using 3D rendering
the guy in the front has a great pout experession
Giant jar looks like it's protein isolate or creatine that body builders and dieters use for meal replacement.
because he is in charge of refunds, LOL.
An, uhh, happy group? LOL
Oh those are the people who are delivering us the awesome models? : )))
The caption says they are the marketing team. The photo's from 2013.
I wonder if it is the same marketing team as now? I've been wondering who those brilliantly evil brainwashing addiction causing people are LOL.
The 3D version has all iMacs, definitely not Daz...
LAMH ?
The computers in the bottom photo are all running Modo is that Daz's 3d model software of choice?
now we know who lost the Carrara coding!
it shows on their faces.....
a little birdie told me that.
The girl all the way to the left looks a lot like someone I used to know back in high school (She's cute, but not the same girl LOL)
Can we get some updated "daily life at DAZ" pictures? :) It's always nice to put faces to all the people that we are sort of in a daily contact with. (No, I'm not writing them daily messages, LOL. :D But we are using the software, or at least the forum. :))
I dunno... I seem to be in contact with Tech Support on an almost daily basis.
a glimpse into Daz Utahpia?
Jazz hands ... or Dazz hands
The one in the back left in the black T-Shirt looks vaguely familiar... I wonder if he was ever at Siggraph in LA in their booth? Were any of those people around in Dan Farr days? I met a bunch of the staff then.
I don't see Steve's glorious face in there.
They've said before that they do use a lot of Modo, also Zbrush, Lightwave and Mudbox in their in-house stuff (I THINK I can say that without getting in trouble?). PAs use all kinds of things. It all has to be rigged and shadered in DS eventually so the origin of the objs and jpgs/tiffs/pngs is less important than with some areas of 3D as a whole.
I found this photo from 2007 SIGGRAPH in San Diego with Dan Farr and other Daz staff at the time. I wonder if any are still there? I actually got invited to dinner with them and have a huge group photo of like 12 Daz people and a few PAs, but I can't find that photo!
A long, long time ago (at the time of Dan Farr and Chris Creek) in a place far, far away there was a biography page on the website
well if one were to buy that set one has a rough idea of what sort of characters and expressions to fill it with

Yes, I remember the time. It's got a bit more secret since them.
It's not so much secret as a different sort of policy and work ethic. Major changes at the top of a company do make for differences at all levels. I have been through it in real life and the changes were quite considerable.
