FaceGen Morphs not showing up.

I'm testing out Facegen but when it comes to exporting to Daz 3d Genesis 3 under the facegen G3F tab, the morphs do not show up in the parameters or shaping tab in Daz studio with Genesis 3 figure selected after restarting.
This is the directory it saved too. The morph files are in there.
data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 3\Female\Morphs\FaceGen\

That's the correct location. You will have a slider in the Shaping tab under Head called the name of the morph as you saved it from FaceGen Pro
The slider isn't showing up under head in either parameters or shaping. When searching for the specific name it won't show up and everything is greyed out under all categories.
Is there a way to rescen morphs
I'm having the same issue. I can see the morph file in the folder, but no slider in parameter or shaping area.
To see a new slider for a new head you have to restart DS. At least that's what i have found. If this problem persists after restarting DS it may mean there is an issue with the location of the "default" folder being used.
Restarting did not work. I got it to work by manually moving the FaceGen morph folder. FaceGen will only accept a content library that contains the Genesis 3 figure mesh. My Connect folder has the mesh, but Daz is not reading custom morphs from there. I'm not sure if this by design or I have a configuration issue, but I've never modified the content library configuration.
Original FaceGen morph location:
C:\Users\UserName\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Daz Connect Library\data\cloud\1_21630\data\daz 3d\genesis 3\female\morphs
Location I copied to:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 3\Female\Morphs
It worked for me after moving folder to the My library folder instead of the main directory.
I'm having a huge problem with the Gen 3 morphs not showing up in DAZ Studio 4.9:
Location of where the morph saves:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 3\Female\Morphs\FaceGen
I tried it for the Gen 2 female and the morph shows up fine in the parameters tab under actor/head/universal/Facegen
C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 2\Female\Morphs\FaceGen
I also tried Genesis 3 male and no dice. At this point I have no clue why the morphs are not showing up for Gen 3 figures, and not real happy I spent 100 bucks on this so far..
Genesis 2 facegen morphs found under Actor -> Head -> Universal -> FaceGen
Genesis 3 facegen morphs found under Actor -> Head -> Real World
Not the same place!
But, the easiest way to find them is just click on the All category, and type the name of your morph in the search bar. Make sure you give morph an unique name so it stands out.
Thanks Samurel.
I could not find it under actor-head-real world, but when I did the search under All I found it. Not sure where it is hiding it.
edited to fix quotes
Click the gear icon at the end of the slider and then Parameter Settings - the Path will show where the morph is located. You can also look at the list of groups down the left - only those with a member that matches the filter will be shown solid, all the rest will be greyed out.
There might be another issue going here but I can share how it's worked for me. I have encountered the morph not showing up under head. I just select the figure, go to parameters and search for the name. For example I usually build based on actor friends and family. My convention is always the same for naming so I know if it's G2 for instance the name will be something like JodiG2. With the complete figure selected it always seems to find it for me.
Thanks a bunch Richard! Cheers
I find if I export the FaceGen morph for a Gen 2 character parameters tab under actor - head - universal - Facegen. I have to search All to find the Gen 3 morph, but after doing what Richard said I found it. The Gen 3 characters FaceGen morph ends up on the parameters tab under actor - head - Real World. The mistake I was making was hititng the Real World drop down box and not finding universal for FaceGen. The morphs are contained within the Real World itself mixed in with all the other morphs.
Now, if I could find some good front and side face references to use...3dsk is one site any other suggestions?
I apologize I deleted my post; I had two tabs open and posted that on the wrong forum. I'm not sure how to move it, so I'm just reposting in the correct place.
FaceBank
I know this disscussion has been over a year. But this is what has worked for me.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 3\Female\Morphs\FaceGen
Open FaceGen - Create a sub folder (new folder) name it FG(and morph name) - Open folder and drag (from face gen folder) to new folder. So in other words the end result should look like.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 3\Female\Morphs\FaceGen\FGMorphname
When you open up DS and load GF3 go to Posing and Shaping - under editor - Genesis 3 Female - Head - RealWorld and Morph will be there.
There is no FaceGen parameter like there is for G2 or Genesis just RealWorld.
Hope this helps
