did the rueven treasure battle twice.  the best i could do was the vault key and the kovir info.  there is no way to make dikstra happy?

earned 600xp for the skellige funeral wake party.  skipped the race an the punch fight.

level  up17.  the cat school gear makin geralt look like a sex kitten.  the unicorn scene laughkiss

they do make a cute couple.  so much history with triss tho.  asking triss to stay in novigrad doesnt change much.  seems it sendss her to kaer morn

Jorundcryingbroken heart  if i'd taken the 'relax' option, would Jorund have lived?  in the phantom lighthouse quest

One of the unavoidable outcomes..... so nope...

  • Jorund can survive.

    Per the fandom wiki;

His death is scripted at the end of Contract: The Phantom of Eldberg if one hasn't completed King's Gambit yet. However, if King's Gambit is completed before the contract, the fight will never happen and thus he lives.
However, doing the above to save him will lock you out of the following quests: Stranger in a Strange Land, The Cave of Dreams, and An Unpaid Debt.

theres a few things i havent found yet.  the dog who needs saving from the wolves.  the diseased dude who was hauling a cart of plague victims.  the house with the elf woman under attack from bandits.

level19.  6 levels more to unlock toussant.  and i just got the enhanced griffin swords.

did the plays the thing differently this time.  did the drama version. picked the drunk unreliable actor as the prince. priscilla as the princess  felt guilty about irena, she looked sad she wasnt to play the  princess

another figure i never managed to save, the guy in the cage in hyalmar's ice giant quest.  think his name is viggy

even if i manage to get the cage key without crunching snow, the fool talks too loud and wakes the giant  facepalm

LoL, well Vigi is called 'The Loon' for a reason.... As with a lot of the Skellige quest, make sure your level is high enough; you've gotta do most of the work....

Maybe old, certainly 'bold', and for me, quite like how I imagine the Witcher would act.... Nice work... yes

LoL..... but did you ever try the option without 'dress'ing up; gives a nice alternative reaction from 'the other side'...

sounds interesting.  mebbe someone put it on utoob.

and mebbe something about how to get the empress ending fir ceri.  i think would be better for all the peoples if ceri was in charge.

Well, there are those moments/decision points, day(s) after the funeral, but before you go crone/elf hunting! 2 or 3 moments, depending on your choices. 1 or 2 (of the 5 or 6??? possible) moments that influences Ciri's life or death in her 'grande finale' and 1 moment to decide if she'll become Empress or not.... (if she lives, of course)..... (Ain't I the sneaky one devil, you've still gotta figure out the right choices.....cheeky) While the ending with Ciri becoming Empress is widely regarded as one the best outcomes.....(opinions may differ, ofcourse), the end-scene that is the result of that is also one of the more emotional scenes.... (for me personally ranking 3rd after the funeral and the reunion with Ciri..)

Noob question: Is it important to have played the first two Witcher games before Wild Hunt?  The games on sale on Steam and I was thinking of giving it a whirl, based on the streams I watched when it was released.

  • glaseyeglaseye Posts: 1,311

It is not important'or needed, but playing the 1st games gives a better insight in the 'witcher game universe'. You can play all 3 separately. (I did play them in reverse order the 1st time around wink). It is posssible though to 'load' a savegame from W1 into W2 and from W2 into W3. This does have a little effect on the storyline in the latter games. However it does not transfer any skil points or equipment from one version to the next; just a nice gimmick. (W3 also allow you to 'emulate' a W2 savegame.)

Personally I would advice to buy the full W3 game (including the DLC's) as those DLC's are IMO a good extension to the main game.

Thanks.  I went with W3 with two DLCs.

Have fun. The 1st play is always the most intense. I've replayed it many times, but that 1st feel of wonder is always the best.

My advice, don't rush through the main quest line. Take your time, enjoy the sights and LEVEL-UP (gain experience)....

  • MistaraMistara Posts: 38,675

my advice is to pay attention to the quest ranks.  if you're level 15 doing a level 5 quest, you get a lot less xp points.

i cant remember the name of it, i saw the witcher2 hair style in the daz store

Anna Henrietta really does look a grand lady.

would be nice to find an ending for blood and wine where his vampire friend doesnt have to leave

    Hi guys,

Just discovered this thread, so I wanted to share my DeviantArt gallery with you.

Beware, some of the pics in there don't follow Daz rules on nudity (I think), but everything's behind a NSFW filter so I hope it won't be a problem with you or the mods.

All pics were made in Daz, a lot of them are with Witcher girls, mostly in modern settings/environments.

It'd be cool getting feedback from fellow Daz & Witcher enthusiasts!

  • Ah, this is the Witcher thread.

Okay, testing conversion of Kayleyss' Gwenbleiz to the new PBR skin shader... so, G3M with PBR (since the HD morph is G3M, and not transferrable by mere mortals to the 8.1).
