Avast AV not letting me save files

After several hours of trial and error I've found my antivirus to be interfering with saving scenes. I've added just about every directory I can think of to the exclusion list. Not sure what else to do aside from disconnecting my LAN cable and disabling Avast while using DAZ Studio.

Anyone have any ideas?

Don't get mad by this suggestion, but have you tried restarting your computer? Avast is known for little hiccups like these, and only restarting will correct it. I sometimes cannot access any of my mailbox or mail programs until I reboot.

Avast isn't a simple AV program any more, it has a lot of shields and other systems, one or more of these is probably blocking you. Run a quick smart scan to make sure you are clean then try turning off the file shield and see if that makes a difference.

Avast is it's own worst enemy, but it does a wonderful job of blocking any ads not form Avast. If you are using Avast Free you are getting what you paid for, if you paid for Avast ask for your money back.

Ahh, found the problem, Avast's Ransomware Shield. Added exceptions on the Malware Shield control panel for DAZ Studio 3 and 4. Thanks so much Bejaymac!
