How to make a pose (or other) that modifies materials in DS

I have more knowledge of Poser, so forgive me if I use the wrong terms.

I want to make a "pose" (or whatever) that I can double click, which will add a couple Opacity maps to the already existing texture that may be on Genesis, and also to modify the opacity values.

Would this be just a PZ2 pose for DS, or is it now different? Any examples? Tuts? Any help is appreciated.

OK, I figured it out...use the Save As Material Preset, and you can check/uncheck the particular parts of the materials you want saved.

Well, since I have the topic going...what about to turn on/off visibility of a node in the parameters tab?

OK, so I see you can make a preset (deprecated DSA) that allows you to include visibility settings, but I don't see anything non-deprecated that allows you to do the same? Any options here?

(maybe this would be better in Nuts n Bolts?)
