Naval ship bridge set for poser/daz or obj

in The Commons
Hey, all. I am in dire need of a Navy ship bridge set, for a Godzilla fan comic I'll be working on soon. anybody know if there are any such interiors around? It needs to be modern, or able to be tweaked to look modern. And if anybody know of a sub bridge set, that would be fantastic. Thanks for any help you guys can give.

I have been looking for a modern warship bridge also. Turbosquid has one: "Ships Bridge A by ES3DStudios" but it is expensive.
Well, I'll go look. i wouldn't buy it right now anyhow, thanks to missing 3 days work for car repairs my money is VERY tight, but I'll at least see how pricey it is. I also have been eyeing up Tokyo blocks on CGtrader. They are also price but look fantastic. I'd hate to spend serious money on a fanproject, however, especially when I already have a TON of city sets, even though they aren't Japanese.
Just found a partial set there for $99. Alot, but more reasonable than the one you are eyeing... Though the one you like IS superior.
I saw that set too, and put it on my list. No way I would spend $400 for the other model. The Tokyo blocks are nice sets, but I have a lot of city sets, and some look similar, just add signs in Japanese or Chinese, etc. Got some of those, and a couple of sets, from the VUE vendors.
I was looking at this too: https://www.daz3d.com/the-control-room trying to figure if I could adapt parts of it. Need a Zeppelin control room too.
One day there will be an AI program that will make a really good 3d model from a single picture. There are actually prototypes. : )
There have been a few super yachts released recently, which include bridges, for example look at this one:

There is also this one:

Currently 55% off, so will only set you back $20 or so. Both packages contain many other interior scenes useful even if you are pretending that it is on a bigger ship.
Those are both cool, but the wouldn't work. The bridge for the Daz yacht is definitely closer, but would still need ALOT of work to look right. Actually, looking at photos or real Navy ship bridges... The Daz one COULD actually work. still'd need a LOT of work, though...

This has a very contemporary heavy ship look to the bridge. You could probably switch most of teh surfaces to flat grey pretty quickly to achieve a navy look
Possibly. I have that in my wishlist, cos I intend to use it in the fancomic, so that possibly could be an issue. Found some consoles and seats on Cgtrader that with retexturing would be PERFECT... except they are over $100 each! I really am trying to only buy stuff I MUST buy for this fancomic, and then pay as little as possible. If this were an original comic, I would gladly pay out for assests. But it's a fanproject, so The less spent the better.
So, I've been plugging away at trying to make a bridge. This is clearly a rough WIP. Used the Dystopia comm center for the main walls, floor, ceiling and rear consoles. The foward console is an addon to Ptrope's TOS Enterprise bridge, retextured, with TOS monitors on top. The Captain's console is also a Trek addon. The bank of consoles in the middle are the dystopia Medbay computer, 3 of them.
That looks pretty good.
Thanks! Not totally happy with it, but over time I think it will at least be usable. Gonna get some military style control panel models from CGtrader once I can afford to. the set is only $35, but money is tight for now. I'm just hoping when it's done it looks believable, cos it's supposed to be a modern JSDF ship's bridge, and not a sci fi ship.
Yeah, that looks good - modern ship's bridges are pretty high -tech these days.
Cool. I'll post some more as I get it together.
So, update... Been fighting with an exterior set for my Godzilla fancomic the last week or so, and last night got back to this. I bought the MV mining ship bridge set, and used the chairs from that, and some of the control panels and stuff. Gonna try to see if I can seperate the control panels to put them exactly where I want them, but if not I found a pack of 20 from CGtrader, for $35, though I'd have to wait till next pay to get that. Anyhow, here's where things are:
What do you mean by military style control panels? Can you show an example?
These, and there are twelve, not 20. They are for realistic and sci fi uses.
Getting much closer! Pretty far along now.
