Character with a HUGE EVIL SMILE?

[Character with a HUGE EVIL SMILE?] Similar to The Joker in Batman, and the guy in the silent movie The Man Who Laughs.  It doesn't have to be a realistic human character - it can be some creature or something - but I need a HUGE jack-o-lantern Grin.  Oh - and modeled/morphed, not painted on.

Thanks!

A few that sprung to mind:

Grumpole (free) EDIT - requires another figure that doesn't seem to be available here any more.

Betty - comes as a mask so might transfer to another figure.

    Clown Clan 2

I prefer the first Clown Clan. If you're still using Mike and Vickie 4, then I recommend it:

If you have a modeling program (pretty much any will due) you can create the grin morph yourself pretty easily. :)

You should try it then. :) Making your own morphs is a ton of fun! :D

I'll have to find some tutorials about morph creation because I know nothing about it.

What figure is it for? I'll see what I can do. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes (as long as it's a figure I'm familiar with morphing lol).

Here you go - some quick morphs for G8M (attached). I did four, starting from just a huge grin and each morph getting more evil looking.

Just download it, open the file, and then drop the "data" folder into your My Library. You should then be able to find the morphs under the Shaping Tab >> Face.

Wow!  That's incredible.  Thank you - I'll download it and se what I can do with it.

I had no specific character/figure in mind.  I was thinking I was going to have to buy a new figure to get the mouth I wanted.

Hopefully that will work for you. Let me know if you have any trouble installing it or if there are files missing or anything. :)

there's also a free Joker at ShareCG for M4 if that helps out. Works in Carrara no probs.

Diva, I'd love it you would do tutorial on how you did that. I have Carrara but never played with it to do morphs and Hexagon drives me nuts.

It's great, but the creator needs a credit line to use the morph, and I can't arrange to always have a credit line included.

I've only used ZBrush - so I wouldn't really know how to give a proper tutorial for other 3D sculpt programs. Honestly I just imported the figure and grabbed the move tool and move the corners of the mouth until it looked creepy. lol

I didn't have anyone else test these, so I'm curious as to if I packaged it right. Did I get them saved and packaged right? Where you able to use them?

You packaged them correctly, and they work fine.   You should sell morphs!  Thanks again.

Oh good! I'm glad I did it right. :)

    You're welcome, I'm glad I could help!

And yeah, I'm totally working on the "selling morphs" part. laugh I've submitted a couple of projects to Daz but they've been rejected - the weakness being the textures and not the morphs. So until I can find a good texture artist to team up with, I might just have to submit some morphs instead without textures. TEXTURES ARE SO HARD! lol

But your name is Divamakeup - maybe subconsiously you're a texture expert.  But, I know how difficult it is to get everything together to sell a commercial product.  I've made a character with textures.  But I cannot figure out how to package it.

Yeah, packaging is another issue. I'm not 100% sure yet, but I THINK you're going to need the "data", "People", and "Runtime" folders for the character.

The "data" folder where the character's morphs are to be saved, the "People" folder is where the character itself and her mats settings are to be saved, and the "Runtime" folder should be where the character's textures are saved.

The folder hirearchies (I THINK) are:

"data" >> "Fauvist" >> "Genesis 8" (or whatever figure line the character is from) >> "Female" >> "Morphs" >> "Fauvist" >> your character's name

"People" >> "Genesis 8 Female" (or again, whatever figure line your character is from) >> "Characters" >> your character's name >> "Materials"

    "Runtime" >> "Textures" >> "Fauvist" >> your character's name

I hope that helps! :) Where you plan on submitting her to Renderosity? Her skin looks super shiny, you might lower the glossiness quite a bit.

I was trying to make her look like she was perspiring at the beach.  I was thinking of submitting it to Renderosity because it's for a figure called Scarlet that is sold only there.  This is her non-beach skin.

    Ah, that's much better! :D

As a woman, if I were perspiring that much - ALL the makeup would be gone. lol
