One of the lesser-known tricks in Daz Studio is that you can set the aspect ratio on a per-camera basis. For example, Camera 1 can be 4:3 while Camera 2 is 16:9.

    1. Select your camera in the Scene tab. (This doesn't work for the Perspective View camera.)

    2. In the Parameters tab turn on Dimensions > Use Local Dimensions.

You can now set the aspect ratio for that camera.  :-)

Please do put the subject in the title, but not instead of putting it in the body of the post. Really, ctrl-a ctrl-c ctrl-v to copy the unmodified title to the body of the post is fewer strokes than typing Question in the title, and that way the question is theer in a quote of the opening post when the title has scrolled out of sight.

Note that you do have to turn Constrain proportion (global) off to change the relative dimensions.

So many things I didn't know. Even after all these years of using this product.

If you are still here, thanks for the tip. I was just trying to create a scene as if taken on a smartphone camera and wanted to change the aspect ratio just for that camera. Lo and behold, it is possible after all! :)

Richard, what would we do without you? smiley
