I would seriously love a preset for lights in ds that simulates blacklight, making white eyes and objects and teeth etc glow that blue-white! From sci-fi, to discos to fantasy, this would be super cool!

Surface tab, Ambient channel, set color, set strength to 100.

Are you saying I should set an ambient glow color on the thousands of surfaces in a complex scene? I'm asking for a light that simulates blacklight...

A real black light creates Ultra Violet light that causes real word objects to glow because of there chemical composition, that is why some things glow more then others if they glow at. Even if a virtual black light was added to Studio the surfaces would need to have a setting added to tell how to respond to the light and this mean needing a new shader. Why reinvent the wheel when the Ambient channel in the default shader will do the job.

probably because new wheels make money.
