Looking for resource... blushing faces, anyone?

I'm looking for image resources on blushing faces. You know, the "real deal", when people are embarrassed. I've searched the net to not much avail.

Does anyone know a good source of images that show natural blushes on people, not makeup?

Thanks!

If it's for G3 or G8, then you can use the Sakura 8 makeup (Iray and 3dLight). This is it applied to G3:

For a full faced blush use the Sakura makeup & in addition add a shade of appropiate red/pink to the Base Color for the surfaces of the ears, face, eye sockets, and lips.

Postwork. Salmon red on cheeks ears and nose a bit in a new layer in overlay or screen mode depending on the skin at low percentage use a soft brush. Make it barely noticeable and then increase intensity to the right degree.

Ah, thanks for the suggestions, but... You're all misunderstanding. I'm not looking for finished products.

I'm looking for images of real life blushing people to use as reference for creating a realistic looking blush.

A search in google images for “human face blushing” seems to provide plenty of reference images

Those google images weren't very realistic at all. Don't people blush any more? Anyway, you are going to be hard pressed to find pictures or videos of authentic blushes.

I used to be able to blush on cue but being outside an evironment without being surrounded by a lot of people doesn't lend itself well to blushing so much. A real blush can be startling deeply red-faced from the neck up and also the eyes tend to tear up and water. A surpressed smile and a glance away from the source of embarrassment typically. And the cheeks can be somewhat deeper red. Just think back to the last time you saw someone blush.

Thanks, noonsesuch. I was trying to gather a range of blushes so I can see what is a good range for my characters - each of them will get an individual blush face. And an Anger-Red face. Those are easier to find, though, but blushing is a more delicate thing.

so, if anyone knows a source of images, I'd be really greateful. smiley

I think because like crying there is a lot of ways blushing can manifest. Most may not be arty or even visible. Crying is usually a whole lot messier than people depict.

I only know that beet red blushing, no subtlety of degree of differences, and its indistinguishable from livid anger via face coloring; the expressions and where the person is looking at the easy giveaways for the difference.

I guessing but the red blush you see in such anger is caused by embarrassment at anger but the redness is not caused by the anger. I only turn red with embassment and never at anger so I can't speak for those that do turn red with anger. I know it's a colloquial saying in some English speaking places to 'turn red in embarrassment' ("in" is used because the embassment will generally be kept and the embarrassed doesn't try to embarrass others) and to 'turn red with anger' ("with" is used because anger is expected to be directed at the perceived cause of it).

I guess mildly embarrassed will maybe bring a mild flush to the ears & cheeks but it's so mild as to be not so easily discernable if someone is actually blushing.

Is there a way to use this without the rest of the changes it makes to the face? Not sure what to call it, but applying her makeup adds white makeup to the rest of the face...

@newoski this makeup, like most, is designed to work with its own skin texture. If You want a blush to apply to any skin, then you will get unpredictable results, depending on the skin colour, etc.

But you could look through this list: https://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=l.i.e.%20makeup and see what suits you.
