I only recognised her becuse I have done a few renders with her:) I think her skin looks much better when rendering than the the promo pictures show.

I feel whilst it may be Charlotte 8 based, both shape and skin, there's certainly some slight facial adjustments

hopefully the creator will inform us.

Wow...that promo is enough to make me buy Charlotte and Annabelle hair.  I wonder if Kool would weigh in on this?

Looking at the Charlotte promos, could she be the version of her shown with 50% Josie 8 added in?
To me, this this would help explain the slightly younger facial features of the Annabelle model.

I just tried Charlotte 8 50% + TeenJosie 8 50% - It's almost the girl in the picture, but not quite

 

It's possible the 50/50 was the base, but the girl in the promo looks totally different

different eyes, broader nose, less nose flare, lower septum,wider mouth, softer chin/jaw

I hope Kool steps in and tells us how to make her, I'd love to have her in my harem of DAZ girls

I tried that combination (and a few others) and couldn't get it very close to the character in the promo pic. Does Kool visit these forums often? I'll go ahead and commit to buying Annabelle Hair if we can get some info on how to recreate that figure. If it's a seperate figure then I'm in for that one also.

I suspect it might be Mika 8 with a different skin texture; PAs have done it before in promo images.

I didn't think we would be getting Mika 8 since we got Karyssa. If that shape really is Mika then that's an easy buy for me.

The lighting probably plays a big part in how great those promos came out. If we could get some information on that also then that would be great!

I thought the forums had some sort of AI that informed creators when they were mentioned in a thread.

It could be they do, and the creator has been too busy to read the thread

I was hoping that Kool may have commented by now.

Please Kool, if the girl is your creation then encourage DAZ to aquire her so we can buy her

hopefully the interest in this thread may encourage DAZ to do it too

BTW, the skin is most definitely Charlotte 8

 

Load Genesis 8F, then dial in approx. 50% Charlotte 8 then dial in approx. 50% TeenJosie 8

Then the hard bit comes in getting her to look exactly like the girl in the promo, I tried, I came close-ish

but it's amazing how such fine adjustment details can make a world of difference in a face

whilst I have a pretty face it is not the pretty face as in the promo, which I prefer

I'm sure the skin was modified too, as I can't seem to get it looking as lifelike as the promo

despite tampering with the  surfaces, I have yet to try Anagenesis with it though

but that usually gives a darker skin than the original

and not as dark a skin as I was expecting, A little tweaking of surfaces should get exactly the  same skin

I'm still trying to get the face shape though

Kool doesn't seem to have a user profile in the forum under that name, so there's no way for them to know. There's no automated bot that flags names and forwards messages -- which is probably good, because that could be absolutely maddening for most PAs if they were mentioned more than once or twice a week or so.

The only way to try to flag active forum users is to put an @ symbol before their user name. (I'd use yours as an example, but I have absolutely no idea how to flag a name with a space, since I think the forum will by default cut off the name at the space.) You could theoretically flag @Kool, for example, except that, as mentioned, there's no user by that name that can be found, so it won't work. If it did, they could see a notification under the gear at the top right of the blue forum header.

That's what I'm hoping.  I did a search on Kool, but came up empty handed except for the Daz store.  I was hoping they could be contacted via one of the other sites.

It looks like Kool used the same model for the new Bblythe hair, and the name 'Mika 8' appears in the credits again. Also worth noting that only the base figures of Olympia and Teen Josie are used in the other promo images. Could it be that this is Mika 8? If so, instant purchase of both hairs and Mika as well.

 i used  N.G.S on charlotte 8 skin too but she use make-up overlay and  i dont know how can i use that with N.G.S ??

What lighting did you use? Has anyone identified the lighting from the promo?

So I dialed in Charlotte 8 and Teen Josie at 50% each, tweeked the nose a bit, and sort of merged the Blue and Green eyes that come with C8 and got the results attached (as you can tell, I caved and bought Annabelle hair).

I think her eyes, nose, and mouth look different enough that it might be a different character (or modified further than just dialing in those characters). I'm not sure that we'll ever get closure here though lol.

in the annabelle promo picture I think her neck is bent approx 3 degrees down, thus causing her eyes to be towards the top of the eye when she looks ahead

also try changing the focal length of the camera to something like 150

when a camera is too close it will distort the shape of the face

this will make a slight difference to the shape of the whole face.

It's worth messing with the 50/50 ratio of C8 and TJ8 to get quite different eye/nose/mouth shapes

although I found when one of the three looked almost close the other two were quite not close

I'm sure it is C8+TJ8 with some tweaking

and I'm certain it's the C8 skin

my favourite lights atm are fabiana theory of light Zen Moods from 'the other place'

buy using the HDRI background which was the same colour as that in the Annabell promo, increasing HDRI brightness to 2.0

and then using Anagenesis2 on the skin I got an almost identical skin tone, which looks very 'life-like'

unlike the original promo images for C8

I'm sure Kool tweaked the skin surfaces a little as well
