I'm always going back to Phoenix1966's gen4 and Genesis 1 skins. Don't know how they convert to Iray, but they ae great in 3DLight.
Particularly the skins for her older characters. I use those a lot.
Given Anain was the PA for this: https://www.daz3d.com/kande-and-musoke-for-genesis-3-and-8-female released just a few days ago, then I imagine she is here to stay for a while.
Maybe the Mothers & Daughters textures will reappear here.
Personally I love Saiyaness' textures. I think I use Priya or Nyarai for just about everything, even when I don't use the shapes. The textures are just so, so good.

I use Agnes's older yellowed teeth on all kinds of characters. Of course my primary figure is still Genesis 1, so I can.
My absolute favourite skin is Belle 6. She was gorgeous in 3delight and by using V3digitimes Iray Smart Converters for Gen2 I've been REALLY happy with the results I've got in iray: this image and this image (i used just the plain default settings in the iray converter, nothing special)
Second favourite would be Olympia 7 (both her morphs and her skin). I use her skin constantly.
So far, I haven't come across a favourite skin for Gen8 - there are a few I like, but none I absolutely love and would call a favourite.

And Hinkypunk has some really cool unique characters- I use HP Myrtle a LOOOOOOT not to mention how awesomely helpful the build-a-babes skin texture set is. Just got Prototype Xt-4 to play with too... can't wait!
ooohh i agree with you about HP Myrtle! She's another favourite of mine - embarrassed I forgot to mention her! LOL. I've used her here and here
Another one I forgot to mention is Ceridwen Absolutely superb skin texture, plus you get three types in that one product. :) But then anything by Saiyaness is briliant - can't go wrong with any of her products.
I love anything by Silver, I love her makeup and tattoo textures.
Had to chuckle at RawArt, as one of my favourites is the V4/M4 https://www.daz3d.com/lizardians & expansion pack https://www.daz3d.com/lizardians-xtreme skins, done a few conversions to get a few extra skins as well. Carrara NPR render.

I use @bluejaunte skins on lots of my morphed characters. By that I mean that I rearely (if ever) use a character out-of-the-box, I use them as a base from my own mophed versions. Thankfully, G8F skins can be applied to almost any G8 figure so @bluejaunte is often my go-to. Also, they don't fall apart or start showing the seams if I pass it through Scene Optimizer.
