dForce Master - Cloth Simulation Presets

I looked through the posts here and I can't find anything about this, so I'll ask here. I just bought the dForce Master - Cloth Simulation Presets and I can't figure out how to use it. The product page states you can use it on non-dForce clothing, even older items. I found the presets in DAZ Studio, but I have no idea how to use these. I tried to apply some of them on a shirt, but nothing happens. I get an error message stating that there is no dForce item in the scene and that I should add a dForce modifier to the object, or add a dForce compatible object to the scene. I know nothing about dForce. I've experimented with it on dForce outfits and sometimes it works fine and other times the outfit explodes. I was hoping that these presets would help, but I can't find instructions or information about it. I looked on YouTube for a video tutorial, but there's nothing for these presets. Help! What am I doing wrong?

The set comes with a tutorial. You can find in the Readme secion of your content directory: /ReadMe's/50109_dforce-cloth-simulation-preset-tutorial.pdf
You can also find it here: http://docs.daz3d.com/lib/exe/fetch.php/public/read_me/index/50109/50109_dforce-cloth-simulation-preset-tutorial.pdf
There's a very useful thread about dforce here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/208141/how-to-use-dforce-creating-a-blanket-draping-clothes-on-furniture-and-much-more#latest
And last but not least, there's the official dForce thread at the top of the forum: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/203201/daz-3d-introduces-dforce-physics-engine#latest
Mesh explosions usually happen when you have body (or other) parts intersecting with the simulated item; self collision is an important factor there.
Also worth doing is tracking down all the 'bits' that don't need to interract with the item being simulated; set the option to OFF. It seems to speed up the simulation process too - fewer items for the calculations to work through.
I'll do that with parts of a cloth; I get fewer issues.
Thank you for the help. I'll check out the tutorial. I couldn't find anything like that.
