Freaking AMAZING!!! Val3dart, you are phenomenal! Any sorcerous and drapey is an instant win in my book. This will work perfectly with your enchantress poses! :D

  • I love it. I'll have to pick it up when I get home. Plus, I just got a commission a few days ago for a piece of someone in a similar outfit, so total excuse to get it!

I'd like to see how it layers over something like the MFD.

    It looks really great.

I could probably find a use for it, but as a wizard out for battling mosters in the wilderness... well no.

The Scarred Lands D&D setting had the cute conceit that arcane magic generated heat, so that arcanists had to be scantily clad or they'd suffer heat exhaustion.

I always found that a cute way to do it

Soooo, the mightiest arcanists would walk around, wearing only a jockstrap? Darn, now I imagine Archchancellor Ridcully of the Unseen University, Ankh Morpork, Discworld, in such an outfit.. *slaps own head to get that bad thought away*

Oh, @maikdecker, you're being insufficiently imaginative here! All the professors at Unseen University would be wandering around like that. (Except for Rincewind, who would probably rather die in his own flop sweat than wander around in the nearly altogether.)

The colors and fabric looks really beautiful in those pictures on the right.

  • Gotta admit, it is a really gorgeous outfit. Might find a use to kitbash it, too.

I see some real problem with Discworld wizards falling under those "magic causes heat, therefor you have to cast spells in the noods" rules.

Everybody - at least on Discworld - knows, that a wizard defines himself by having a) a staff and b) a very large hat. But as magic is mostly an art of the mind, the head probably is the part of the body, that would prduce the largest amount of heat when spellcasting. Now a large hat would hinder heat disspation greatly, I presume, unless special measures - like putting in a ventilator? - would be taken.
So, as we now face the basic problem: using magic produces heat - the head it probably the hotspot - a hat will keep the heat from dissipating - heads will start to boil when casting spells - no hat = no wizard I guess that the idea of the personnel of the Unseen University going around in the noods AND ESPECIALLY WITHOUT HATS should not be followed. Not even for renders.. please... crying
