How do I import a rigged model from Blender?

It is a Blender-native model of a narwhal: https://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/79160

I tried exporting the model from Blender as .dae, .fbx, and .obj.

Daz Studio then imports the .dae and .fbx all twisted up, and the .obj without any rigging.

I suspect there's a way to set up Blender to export the rigging correctly for use in Daz Studio, by checking the correct set of export setting check-boxes. But I don't know what those settings need to be because I'm a nubie at such things.

I'm using Blender 2.78.

only successful way I have ever imported an FBX or anything else from another program is using Poser11pro to save it as a cr2 then load that in DAZ studio

My research shows that it can't be done without using a script by Millghost.

But so far this script hasn't worked for me either. I keep getting either just the armature without the skin, or the skin without the armature. But hopefully that is just because I don't understand how to use the script enough. What settings do I use? What object in the heiarchy do I need to select? Is it even possible to export it given the way the model is structured?

Hopefully someone can tell me what to do from looking at the two pictures I have included here.

I cant tell you if the rigging from the .dae or the .fbx would work like expected in DazStudio, but I can tell you how to flip the model around.

DazStudio uses the z axis for front/back while Blender uses the z axis for up/down.

I've opened the FBX export options in Blender and changed the settings for the DazStudio orientaton, you see its Forward: -Z Forward and Up: Y Up in the first screeshot.

You may also have to change the scaling by comparing it with the DS scaling.

But I have no idea what else to select in the FBX options.

I use Blender for im-exporting OBJs but this file type dosn't have options to save the rigging.

If its just for exchanging meshes I use the settings on the left in the Blender Export OBJ like seen in the second screenshot.
