THANK YOU sooooo much @Virtual_World ! they're gorgeous, and i'm so grateful someone (after @EmmaAndJordi with their excellent character EJ Hiroshi and Masao for Genesis 8 Male, and @Sickleyield with their great morphs People of Earth: Faces of Asia Genesis 8 Male) finally gives (again) a thought to East Asian male G8M characters! i've been waiting, in vain, for an "official" full East Asian male G8M since G8 appeared over a year ago - because, side note, all 3 products do need the G8M face- and/or body morph packs (which i luckily own, but it's not a given) and hence don't replace a full DAZ figure - so at least this new product (also Hiroshi/Masao) which contains a skin on top of the varied face/body morphs, is very appreciated!
i still can't figure why a whole ethnic male group is being so obviously ignored among the basic G8M figures, so thanks again @Virtual_World for your precious contribution!
Japanese have more or less big eyes, though, contrary to disbeliefs (but the shape, the shape matters)
Bought it, with big grabby-hands. Looking forward to working with it.

I would love to create characters from the South and Middle East. Let me see if I find commercial licensed sets of photos of models from these regions. I can't promise anything yet.
I usually don't buy G8 content, but this one went straight into my cart.

japesse males from a non asian is going to look like that but that jawline is way too weak. asahi.com is a newspaper in japan that has a rss feed and web pressence to see what japanesse people actually look like.
Wide check bones that form a heart shape face one inch below the eyeball, the same concave checks for ripped people, and convex for people who like the taste of food.
The eyes are the same height for the escrim, and the top curvature is usually dominte. The enthatic fold is missing entirely, think bags under the eyes or a thicker line to the eye lid when open.
the fleshy part of the checks under the check bones sits forward of the jawbone, with the jaw curving under the face until the jaw widens out like a pair of handles that the ends. the end of the jawbone is a like a anstrum that sits forward of the bottom of the lips and just behind the resting position of the pursed lips.
They do not do it as much anymore, but the japenesse used to trim the eye lashes off at an upward angle from the middle of the bone over the center of the eye.
The line of shape from the nosterial to the back of the jawline is totally wrong.
Fin, estonian and japanesse are interchangable as long as they are actually that genotype. People in scandinava indentify as what they are based on self selection, but live where they are welcome and comfortable. I nearly had my head cut off in japan back in 1998 for kissing a woman that walked over as if it was totally normal and sat down and started eating from the food I ordered. When I kissed her it was totall exceptable then I met her father and did not speak a word of japanesse, my mother's family is one of the oldest lines in ireland. My father was living in england but was from finland. To the japanesse, I am japaness. that is not to say that every caustic is asian, just that people that started from the caustic base geno self selected for what they valued. finland valued imgination and then after they migration they valued science. they lost half their population to people not wanting to live an artic climate. to get a japanesse look it is remembering that the due to accidents and bombs going off the back ground rads in japan are still higher than most non-volcanic regions of the world. so they have beach tan all year round. they freckle, but cover it up with make up because people treat those as funny as the naturally blonde ones. russia is not one self selection, there is the boyjours who may as well be from italein, the swedes that blonde haired and usually vegitarian, the norge (norweginan, norse, norge) basically norge is the word or ore or metal so they have hair the color of rusting metal and it is thick, cury and wavy, with the appeareance of norweigan, estonian are taller swedes body type with the full range of hair colors. Ukanians are eastern europeains and they pass for chinesse. shorter their tradition diet includes not enough to look american but not as sparse as the europeans that have trim bodies. the rest are amerian, greek, persian and froom india in eastern europe.
Middle east use the artist known as... that should give you the best images becasue he was so instant on not having the photos retouched.
I really hope we get an official Asian male character. I like this product and the recent Ishimoto, but I really want an official base character who will have the proper bone structure and a really good HD skin to mix with these lovely products. I have tons of G8 Asian women ranging from realistic to manga-ish, and I really need a variety of men, too.
