That's a really cool suit and they make so many really good ones too
Here's one where I decided to test sunlight renders. I wanted to put in another character but she crowded out the frame so I might try again. I used a polyester shader from 4k fabric shaders over Minto's cropped pants and the shoes and top are from Gou Luk's bundle
Nice use of light and shadow here.
...
Ok, last night's render.
If I choose elves for something, it's always the Dark Elves first, going back to AD&D D1-3/Q1. Queen of the Demonweb Pits! C'mon, that's a classic. Also, Chaotic Evil. No retcon to Neutral Evil, or "good guy" crap.
(Morrowind is a far more fascinating world than Skyrim. Who cares about Khajiit? Give me more of the province of Morrowind.)
Lunchtime render/test...
Looking at the other midnight_stories' suits again to check out the Helmets because the Helmet in the S8 suit is so nice. This also used the Hood from the G3F Titan Suit since the hair that I used for this character is a lot bulkier than the other character's hair.
Once more, just messing around with midnight_stories stuff, focused on helmets with transparent face plates. A little different style this time.

Just something different and using PhotoShop for a change to give the grainy and blurry look.
I just like how this hair turned out.
I used GIMP to sharpen the colors here. There are only 2 layers on this one... the raw render, and an overlayer with gaussian blur & converted into light values.
Very cool subtle effect! What do you mean by "converted into light values?"
Uhh... it's the "Mode" for the Layer. (I don't know the right terms. I just learned this by messing around a lot.)
In this case, I used the "Hard Light" mode. It's probably not the best description of what the Layer is doing.
According to the GIMP thing... "Hard light mode is rather complicated because the equation consists of two parts, one for darker colors and one for brighter colors. If the pixel color of the upper layer is greater than 128, the layers are combined according to the first formula shown below. Otherwise, the pixel values of the upper and lower layers are multiplied together and multiplied by two, then divided by 256. You might use this mode to combine two photographs and obtain bright colors and sharp edges."
Of course, first I used Gaussian Blur to reduce the sharp edges, then switched the overlayer to Hard Light, then changed the Opacity for the layer. By using one of the Light modes (I like Soft Light and Hard Light modes), I can soften the edges without adding too much haze (as might happen with a Blur layer in Normal mode).
It's kind of Tone/Color correction, in a way, but I'm not really correcting anything. It's just a look that I want.
EDIT: Also, Hard Light and Soft Light are really useful for synthetic lighting effects in post.
A few layers later... (a mix of desaturation, some other layers swapped to hard light, another random layer with black and white smears)...
This is just messing around in GIMP. Sure, you can try to do this all in-render, but I just find it easier to mess around in GIMP.
Forgot I had Universe Explorer, which also has a cap. It's pretty wide, though, so I had to zero out the Ears in order to fit in the S8 Suit's Helmet.
(Too many reflections in the face shield, but meh. Just trying to illustrate the fit.)
another - kind of floating but :)
I know it's not up to the standard of most of you, but i've only been doing this seriously for a couple of years
For the first time I'm actually really happy with the result.
It scene won't mean much to anyone unless you've seen Bat Out Of Hell The Musical.

Okay then, for something hopefully less controversial than that last one of mine...

Just showing what Light layers can do.
Here's an image after layers of Hard and Soft Light (GIMP).
Original render (converted to JPG):
Zoey.
Fun with dForce weight painted couch and dForce breasts.
I'm dialing in different characters and using different fabrics and experimenting with different lightings
I tried dForcing the bear's hair so it could be under the armor but it kept freezing on me so I rendered without
I dialed the shin size down way too much and maybe dialed the waist too thin but I'm still experimenting
All the bounce and glare made this one a bit hard to resolve. I'll need to play with the surfaces some more.
Quick test of the Vitruvian exosuit with a more exaggerated female body shape and anatomical elements.

I discover that I have quite a few options for teddy bears in my library (and this doesn't even cover all of them).

I felt like revisiting Genesis 2, plus a Genesis-era midnight_stories suit.
Spy vs Spy
Lekkulian for G8F, made more human-like. Another test/demonstration. It requires some understanding about how to use Photoshop/GIMP (assuming no other app for texturing).
Picked up Honni the other day, so decided to do some general purpose cheesecake to welcome her to the library. (Also gave me an opportunity to use a few other underutilised assets in my library).

Here's a redo of an old image I did. Replaced the human with a newer character. Robyn 8 hd in the Everdyday 2 shirt with OOT low ponytail.
Figure is Bot Genesis, redone with various iray textures and wearing Attica for G3.
Really nice render, the lightning looks great.
And something I had in mind for a while:
The Bat and the Cat
