I started experimenting as I wanted to see what a CGI version of the Azur Lane character "Unicorn" (HMS Unicorn) might look so got to some dial spinning:

    Kayleigh

    Kayleigh...

Beautiful! She looks a lot like an older version of a roommate I had in college. She was drop dead gorgeous but really insecure and would never let anyone see her without makeup!

    Aww what a cute render!

I finally got this bedroom set! It's really good too. I used a car paint shader on a few of the curtains to add a bit more color

Next time I'll use a city for the out of window scenery and used the beach because I really like how its lighting works with the bedroom

Something a little different for me. But I had to try that monster! (I changed some shader settings and lighting colors plus post make it look a bit different!)

I just wanted to test out a new HDR from HDRI Haven: forest_cave

For a list of used assets see the image it in the gallery

  • I guess I throw this here just for technique.

The crackling halo of power around her is actually a Liquid, repurposed as a reflective field around her. There's also a scaled-up droplet/splash Liquid at her base.
I mostly used thin water shader, I think. The idea was to show reality warping and breaking around her.

This render pushed my card to the limit and even then I think I could do the lighting better but not know how yet. It took so long to load everything in and I had to work with what I have. I have so much I want to expand from fantasy to sci fi to contemporary for guys and girls yet so little budget

And a Render where I'm testing out different shaders. I really love this purple and the texture

That came out good. I always have trouble with HDRI

Misumi in a medieval dress. It didn't come with dForce so I added the settings and added silk shaders

    New Set??

  • Great perspective.  I like the realistic scenario and the lens reflections are a nice touch.  From the baby's POV, Grannies can be scary!
