  • You could probably position this against a light post to resemble a crash.: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/car/standard/scrap-car-01 While not DAZ format it includes obj format which can be imported into DS. Both that site and Turbosquid also have other wrecked car models.

Powerage has a awesome set of cars that break apart in this bundle https://www.daz3d.com/live-architectures-bundle

even those maybe not be what you want  there is this prop you can get at renderosity by powerage as well Car Breakers BUNDLE for DS Iray by powerage    https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/car-breakers-bundle-for-ds-iray/129671/

I was playing with a comic once that needed such a scene (back in V4 days, so long ago) and I used dformers to just bend the front end in.  Also bent the pole using them.  It's not the greatest thing anyone ever made but depending on how realistic you want to be, that could be the simplest fix.

  • Whoa, I really need to start learning dForce, that does look like a lot of fun to experiment trying things like crashing a car!

  • That dForce car crash is a really cool idea.  I especially like how that police SUV turned out.

Yeah you can get some nice softbody collision effects using zero gravity in dforce.

Still It would be nice to have some actual soft body physics at some point in DS. fingers crossed.

A destuctable car (like Sven Dullah's examples or BeamNG) would be cool for Action orientated renders, or for some weirdo like me who might want to recreate the Street fighter II bonus stage. :)
