Box with Exclamation Point in Smart Content

I have reinstalled my entire purchased database onto my new laptop and I have some boxes with exclamation points of purchased products. I updated the MetaData and they are still there. I browse for the folder and it is there. How to I get it to point at it and show the thumbnail instead of the exclamation point?

Try following the instructions here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/308086/missing-smart-content-thumbnails I had a similar issue and this fixed it

...I've seen that even in the normal content tab without using Smart Content.

What products are these? If these are old ones (eg. V4/M4, Genesis), they don't have updated metadata with a linked thumbnail. You have to manually do it yourself.

...actually a few more recent items.  After the update to 4.9, the CMS became rather unreliable and likely the database was corrupted. I never used Smart Content as it took up too much display "real estate" and about 60% of what I had didn't show up and I had no Idea how to get it into the database.(manually building a database is not one of my strong skill areas).

Still in the process of re-building my libraries and runtimes (custom setup) after the HDD meltdown, which includes a clean install of all content through the DIM including the Daz programme and database (my former setup was part DIM, part Bitrock installers as when I set my system up 6 years ago, I didn't have Net access from home so a lot of my older content was manually installed, however icons for all of it still showed up in the normal content tab).
