Does somebody know which character is used in this picture found in Goddess Braids For Genesis 3 And 8 Females promo?

Might be a customized one that Samsil uses in their promos.

I think that's the same character he uses in the promos for Jumbo Side Braids and Twist Braids, with different makeup. I think, though I will not swear to it, that it's a heavily tweaked version of his G2F character "Miss B" that he has for sale at Renderosity, but updated, most likely to G3F or G8F with something like GenX2 or his own character-building tools.

It could be. Someone has an idea where to find the make-up?

They both show Egyptian makeup styles in the promos. I think there's one in the second set that isn't shown -- it says "2 Egypt" in the product information -- and the first one shown in the second set is definitely NOT the one in the hair promos.

I also just realized that it's possible that the character might be Makeda, his G3F character for sale at Renderosity. I don't think so -- her face strikes me as not quite right -- but it's possible.

I was curious, so I tried an experiment.

Miss B (in back), moved to G3F with GenX, and Makeda G3F, both with Goddess Braids:

    Miss B and Makeda

(Don't ask me why Makeda is so shiny. I have no idea.)

Honestly, from the look of them, I kind of think he may have remapped Miss B's texture and used that on Makeda for his promos. The Goddess Braids promo doesn't really look like either one.

In any event, you can file a ticket and ask -- they have an option for asking about promos.

Thank you. I was also looking for the outfit for a long time and I see you have it. Can you tell me what it is?

Yes please. I'm dying to know what the outfit is, and also the jewelry. I posted a pic the other day but no hits.

I don't know if I do have the outfit that he used. The collar I used is just part of the Desert Watcher top, with the neck and one of the chest surfaces turned off and back-fitted to G3F. (https://www.daz3d.com/desert-watcher-outfit-for-genesis-8-female-s) It doesn't have that jewelry, or the top with the straps.

What Samsil may have used for his collar, and maybe the armbands, is Egyptian Outfit: https://www.daz3d.com/egyptian-outfit-for-genesis-3-female-s

That outfit also does not have the top with the straps. However, the colors on the collar are a better match for the promo.

He might also have used the collar from Pharaohs of the Sun, just parented to the neck. https://www.daz3d.com/pharaohs-of-the-sun-for-genesis-female

Looking at the whole Egyptian Mega bundle, he might have used the texture for FWSA Samira over the body shape of either Miss B or Makeda for the character. She has the eye makeups as part of her texture sets: https://www.daz3d.com/egyptian-mega-bundle-characters-outfits-hair-poses-and-lights

I suspect the outfit may be something over on Rendo. But if it's a kitbash with new textures applied, those straps and how they join to the rest of the dress seem rather reminiscent of Igns Serpens Olympian Goddess for V4. That set also comes witb armlets. But a lot of things have those.

The collar is a different shape from the standard smooth segment-of-a-circle of the rest of the ones linked to, It loos vaguely familiar, but I'm not placing it. It could be another kitbash, but again, it might be somewhere on Rendo.

@Lasciare, did you try submitting a help ticket to Daz to ask about the model and clothes? There's an option for asking about promos on the ticketing page. Mind, I do suspect they may say that the model, at least, is something proprietary to the artist, but then you'd know for certain. Unfortunately Samsil doesn't participate in the Daz forums, so there's no other way to ask.

Well, yes I do have that pack.  blush  I'll have to look it over and play.  Thx for the hint. It might be the one. I rarely shop at the other place, and know I don't have any of this type of thing from them.

Xurge has an Egyptian queen (Nefertiti) for V4 with a collar that's a bit closer in shape to that than the smooth arc ones. But I don't think it's that one, either.

The question is how much work the promo artist decided to put into it. And whether that effect could be done with a shader. Because, that colar is not solid. You can see by the shadow underneith it that it's as much transparent as visible. It could have been modeled as it is, in which case, I'm not sure I've ever seen it anywhere.

Well, for whatever it's worth, I checked both Pharaohs and Egyptian Outfit, and the collars on both are very flat, so it doesn't seem to be either of those.
