    For an Iray render, no you can't disable shadows. Iray is an approximate simulation of how light works in the real world and just like you can't stop a light bulb, you can't stop Iray lights from generating shadows as well.

    However, if you do a 3Delight render, you CAN turn off casting shadows on 3Delight lights.
