  • I don't have the set but I think the locomotive is included as a prop, List of items includes  1c11  and I think that is the loco.

There are pictures of the train interior in the promos and the text says 'Passenger train's Roof, Left side with the seat and floor, Right side with windows and doors are separated' so I'm guessing yes.

    Bold emphasis by me.

I have it and I can verify that the locomotive is included as the !C11 prop

    Edited to correct typo.

1C11 and now IC11. How hard is it to spot an exclamation mark? ;)

That depends on if you you are squinting at the small print in DS. I have now corrected the typo in my previous post

for the miopic with the bespectacled avatar probably a piece of cake but us farsighted aged ones have trouble as we keep needing to whip out the reading glasses to make sure it's not a sandfly on the monitor, the glasses cannot stay on though if we need to hop up to go to the loo etc, it's a constant battle

Just proving my new varifocals are working :)

  • ( Anorak mode on ) JNR class C11 built between 1932 and 1947. 381 were built of which 50 are preseved, with 5 in working order, so the prop could be used for scenes from the 1930's up to the present day if you want to be prototypically correct. (Anorak mode off )

  • Thank you, everyone.

It is a nice set in general.

It would be great also if the locomotive was available separately...... just thinking.
