Can I copy and paste an object?

[Can I copy and paste an object?] Pretty much this. I used geometry editor to cut out certain parts and only leave the hands (think Adams Family), and I want to add a bunch of them. Is there any quick way to do this?

Select the object that you want to copy&paste and do Edit -> Duplicate -> Duplicate Node.
This allows you to make a copy of your objects in the same scene. No way to copy&paste between different scenes, I believe.
Thats all I need. Its going to be in the same scene anyways. Much appreciated.
Also, as an aside - check your object and see if the maps for the other body parts are still loaded (probably are) - remove the maps for head, legs, etc and leave only the ones on the hands / wrist - then you'll save on memory when rendering.
If the different hands are in the same pose you can also use instancing rather than duplication (or a combination of some duplicated and some instanced) to save on memory.
If you want items you can change independently (variations of the original) use Edit > Duplicate.
If you want items that will render quickly and you don't need variations in color or shape from the original (let's say you want to make a bunch of grass blades from a single grass blade and you don't need to vary the shape or color) then use Create > New Node Instance ...
