Importing 3D Models From SketchFab & ModelHaven into Daz3D (Tutorial)

Have you seen all the wonderful FREE models on Sketchfab, or ModelHaven and have longed to be able to use them in Daz3d?
Check out my screenshot by screenshot tutorial guide on how to import 3D models from other sites like SketchFab and save them into Daz as a new asset. This guide is designed to be beginner-friendly and is a simple project.

Yes! Thank you so much for creating this tutorial. It's Greatly appreciated!
Thank you that's very helpful.
be careful though as many models that are on free sites are illegally uploaded from copyrighted sources such as games and even DAZ amd may cause problems depending on your usage.
Thank you!
Link is dead for me.
It's visible through the Internet Archive:

You'll have to scroll all the way down to make pictures appear, and once you have done that, it's best to save it, in case something happens to the Internet Archive itself.
Thank you very much!
Mmm. Not what I was hoping for. I download Sketchfab models directly into blender using their plugin. I find the look is far superior to what I can get by trying to recreate the Sketchfab preview look using an image dump, as found when downloading through the web page. The trouble is, the scene hierarchy is always a mess and I don't know enough about Blender to fuse everything into a game-ready or Daz-ready prop.
Jay Versluis has a series of videos on the subject, that could be useful to you:

(note, he set up the list in the wrong order)
Depending on what you want to do, you may not need to watch them all.
