I have the full version just don't use it often not good at it :/
We're working on a mode to make LAMH significantly less complex. For those who don't need or want all of the extra power. At the same time we are also expanding the expert side with great new features.
EDIT: Back to Ron's Apes. Trying to find time to do an Orangutan render... "Right turn Clyde." :-)

Wow...that is adorable!!
Here is my ape wars pic, without the illustrative look.

Hi, I've successfully exported Darwin using latest LAMH Free Player 1.5.12 (which should appear in store in the next hours). It took about 10 minutes on my Mac Pro (OSX 10.9) to export and load the OBJ in Studio (see attached screenshot, where I've hidden LAMH hair groups to better show up the export OBJ group).
The resulting OBJ file is 661MB, so a 64bit system with plenty of ram for handling that amount is required.
Cheers.
EDIT: please note that during the export process, there is no progress dialog of any kind, so one may think it's stuck. Just let it run at least 10-15 minutes on models with a large hair count. We are working on putting a dialog that shows progress on next release.
This product is absolutely wonderful, congratulations, thanks for making it. Today I wanted to test the compatibility with my own skin shaders, and your "apes (?)" really do render great in DS. I share my renders with you. A great product you made there!
Very nice indeed!

Thanks, your job was so good that is was one of my fastest scene setup !
I can not get the Ape World 2 to work as it should in Poser Pro 2014...
Genesis 2 Male - on the figure on the left the Raw_AW2GorillaLD is 0. On the figure on the middle and to the right, the Raw_AW2GorillaLD is set to 1.
When I apply a pose, something is happening... I have used one of the Apeworld poses in this example, but there are distortion to the figure when I apply any pose.
I have no idea what could be happening.
I can assure that it all works in PP2012 (see pic).
I do not have PP2014, so I cannot recreate that aspect of your issue.
Your best bet would be to contact DAZ's customer service and they may be able to help find the root of your problem. They have access to more versions of poser than I do.

Hello I really like your product and have posted two gorilla and one yeti renders in my gallery. I have saved several scenes and today I was thinking about trying the amazing skins to bring down the skins tones on my yeti. All of my saved scenes with the gorillas are now opening bad. With error message Duf File is bad. Cannot load LAMH assets. So everything loads in the scene eccept LAMH and there is no way to reapply. I know in the past I contacted customer support about the free LAMH player and I thought that I wasn't getting all the features it offered. Can you help me. Also have encountered a few problems with posing LAMH not applying in areas. Same pose just different mirrors. If I remember right on my testing the hair went away on the arm when I applied the open mouth to the poses.
Hi, Thanks for the info.
I have contaced customer service a week ago and it is still no solution. I just posted here to see if I was the only with issue in Poser Pro 2014.
If it work for others, well - then I have some work ahead :)
.:. Frank .:.
I have had a couple issues with corrupted scene files.
What I have done as a work around is to open up the corrupted file which says it has no LAMH. In the scene tab, you may still see a LAMH object. I would delete that and resave the file.
The next time you open it, it should open clean without LAMH so you could then reapply it.

Ok...hopefully others can chime in here how it is working for them.
If there are issues with 2014, i would like to know as well.

A message that "Duf File is bad. Cannot load LAMH assets." means that LAMH cannot find a figure that matches the label that the preset was saved on. In this case, LAMH aborts the load so that we don't get a hair explosion (like those in the Shrek blooper reels) due to the preset being applied to the wrong figure. In this case, the solution is to delete the incorrectly named preset, and reload the correct onto the figure that it belongs on.
Which version of the free player are you using? Watch for a new version of the player that is in DAZ QA and should be set free soon.

I tried your fix and when I deleted the LAMH group Daz crashed.
"Daz studio has encountered a fatal error, and must close. To help improve DAZ studio please click more and save this error log to a file, then submit a bug report and attach the file using the link below. Thank you for your help the daz studio QA team."
When I tried the above to submit bug report, I was unable to procede.
"Your connection is not private attacker might be trying to steal your information from bugs.daz3d.com for example, passwords, messages, or credit card."l
Not feeling to good about some of the messages I am getting. Just wish the product worked properly.
Hello I am using version 1.06 with daz pro 4.6 64bit. I went back and read some of the details of the free player and I know that I do not get the elagant pane it talks about. When I go to the Add Pane(Tab) the Look at my my Hair is there, but will not dock. So I do not know if I get all the features the free player advertises.
As for some of the preset issues you reccomend trying. Not sure I follow you on how to procede after trying RawArt's fix that did not work.

The latest player version in the store is 1.5.06P. That version of the player should allow for docking and deleting presets w/o problems. The new version coming as soon as DAZ QA approves it is 1.5.12P. If you wish, you can send a copy of the .duf to krsears (at) trdc.biz and I'll take a look at it to see what may be the issue.

A lot of confusion when it comes to these player versions. I went to the Daz store and it is labeled version 1.06 the same as it was in my product directory. I deleted and redownloaded the free player using the DIM. Same numbers. There was a log file that I found that said LAMH Session Started(1.5.01P). Still no pane. Where do I find the version number that is installed on my computer.
So, when first learning these were not going to get their female counterpart I was at first disappointed, but GenX helps a lot, so here is a picture of the Ape a World Fuys with the Genesis 2 Female loaded in. Ever since I found out about RawArt redoing Ape World I was excited, and really wanted to do an updated image of my chimp wedding image, I made for a relatives wedding years ago. So now using GenX I figured I'd take a go at it, the image isn't anything special, bad lighting and poke-thru and I can see the image taking a long time to get right but I think it will be worth it in the end.
Hi.
This weekend I had to remove a harddrive that had give errors that it was about to stop working. When I started my computer after removing the defect harddrive, another harddrive (my startup disk) was broken too.
After installing everything on a new disk, I decided to reinstall all my 3D contets, even if that was not affected of the disk crashes. After approx 15 hours downloading and installing, the Ape World morphs are working.
.:. Frank .:.
(How mutch data did I loose? Too mutch. Because of the disk that reported error I had to backup that disk and had to delete all double (and triple) backups. One project I have been working on and off for 4 years are completly gone - but on the bright sight - a new fresh start are ahead :) )
Hi - I've JUST got the ApeWorld 2 set, and after quickly using Darwin in Poser Pro 2014 ('cos I just HAD to test him since the store didn't say he was Poser compatible - I wonder what doesn't work? Because his shape loads up fine) I thought I'd try to re-create your situation.
Genesis 2 Male - on the figure on the left the Raw_AW2GorillaLD is 0. On the figure on the middle and to the right, the Raw_AW2GorillaLD is set to 1. I think I've applied the same pose on both the left and right figures as you have...
What version of Poser Pro 2014 are you using? (Service Release?)
Cheers,
Cliff
PS don't be surprised if I'm a little slow to respond - I'm in the UK and off to bed now! :D
Oops - I should read ahead. Looks like you found your problem - well, at least it's working now! :D
Cheers,
Cliff
Have to say this is one of your best for sure, the LAMH worked straight out of the box. I've always wanted to do the Scene in planet of the apes where Cmos steps out of the space craft and also the opening scene from 2001, Super product Raw !
great work guys....it seems the thread has got to the point where i dont get notices of posts anymore...so I am glad to hear the pp2014 issue was solved too.

Under "Help", look for "About Installed Plugins". In the panel that opens when you click on in, look for LAMH, and click on it. The information will show up in the panel's split screen.
I checked my version number at the About Installed Plugins and have LAMH 1.5.0.1
Hope this will help in finding a solution to my problems. Thank you lee_lhs for telling me where to look.
I got bored and combo'd some stuff. Tt works really well!
Hmm, now we should also be able to get Pigsy from RawArt's stuff. That just leaves Sandy and Tripitaka
Don't forget Tripitaka's horse that's actually a White Jade dragon exiled from his father's court (the Dragon King of the Western Seas) for burning one of his pearls.
