Basic male/female poseable dummy

Hi All!  As the title says, I'm looking for a basic male and female poseable dummy.  I realize I could probably just load up that dev version of Genesis 8 and dial in my own measurements and settings using morphs, but something even more basic like a featurless doll or something would be even better.  I like to draw my characters in on top of DAZ environments, and it's much easier to get perspective just right if there's a placeholder in the scene...

I did look online, and found a few threads with links to products that don't exist anymore, or with information from about 5 years ago or so, so I was wondering if anybody recalls anything being released in the recent past that might achieve this.  I'm currently (actively) looking through the store, but I haven't found a very efficient way of looking for something I want if I don't know whatever keywords people would use, so I'm posting this in the hopes that somebody has seen something recently that might fit the bill.

    @duckbomb

Are you looking more for something like a department store mannequin along the lines of those creepy all white glossy plastic ones with no joint seams and no face?...

    Something like this?

Edited to add... I thought I saw something more like the above, but couldn't find it... the first link of Chohole's seems to have a smooth morph for the head, so that's probably close if you want something like that.

Thanks!  I saw these in the store, but they looked like Mannequin PROPS not an actual figure for this purpose.  I suppose I could achieve this with a flat shader, since it still has all of those facial details, but I will certainly look into it!

This is a decent one... https://www.renderosity.com/rr/mod/bcs/ipe-for-daz-studio/118059/

It is!  Thank you!  THis is pretty much waht I was looking for!  I'll take a look at it right now and see if it works!  I wonder if I can adjust some of those proportions... probably..  everything is adjustable in 3D haha

    Hello!

Yes, that's extremely close!  It's the details and facial features that make just using a standard figure a little difficult to use.  I can't turn my brain off and I quickly go from "reference" to "tracing", and I have a hard time staying loose and free when there is so much information in my reference sheet.  I suppose another solution would be to do something like this using the Dev loadout of a base figure, and then quickly just tracing the outline and then deleting the first reference, but I don't know if this is becomming more trouble than it should be at that point.

Where did you find this model without the facial features?

You might try searching for the various "lo-rez" figures. It sounds like one of those, with a basic one-color shader applied, might fit your needs.

Sorry, I probably said that profoundly screwy...

I thought I knew where to find a model like the one in the picture, but it's not where I thought I saw it... I looked around but nothing.

The photo is from a mannequin manufacturer's website, to illustrate what I was trying clarify... my brain is muddy today as I'm a little foggy from getting my second vaccine yesterday, so sorry if I got your hopes up.

From what I can tell, Chohole first link (Mannequin-For-Genesis-3-Female) has morphs that will smooth the face, so that might work for you.

The image I remember may not have been from a promo image (of something similar to the faceless nurses from Silent Hill), but a render of someone's personal work... it was distinct looking, so the only other thing it may have been from was a product from RDNA.

Or I'm insaner than I realized and my fevered brain is messing with me.

    Sorry if I wasn't clear.

    Edit...
    I found this https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/215756/create-a-mannequin-like-featureless-face
    But nothing further.

If it's just the face that's distracting you, you could always parent a primative to a figure's head to obscure it.

AH, yes, I see that now!  I missed where you could smooth out the features!  This will be perfect!

Thanks all!  I really appreciate the time and the responses, I think I'm in a pretty good way now :)

Hopefully, I can finish a few things up and I'll post them up to see what people think!  Have a great one!
