I ordered a pillow.  I had second thoughts and canceled the order. Now I got an email saying the order got shipped?  I attached a screenshot showing it got canceled and a marked up screenshot of it being shipped.  I'm so confused.

How long between the order and cancellation?

I think it was on the same day?  Maybe a few hours?

A lot of companies do same day shipping and if a label has been created it's considered shipped. I've had places that ship within an hour

  • Hopefully the I5 processor will be faster than the I3 Gateway computer in my dad's livingroom.  I actually rendered some scenes on the Gateway PC.  I don't know how fast the RAM on my computer will be.  Amazon says 2400 MHz but other websites say 2666 MHz.  The motherboard does have two RAM slots.  I'll try to save money to buy 16 GB  of RAM.  The memory costs around $65 though.

Mew Moo is milk without lactose but has taurine.  That isn't a real brand but I'm pretty sure something like that exists.  I want to do a picture of a character drinking Mew Moo.

well, with a cow, one will probably hear a lot more mooing than with a pregnant human woman.  Some women might use more colorful language than "Moo!"

I want to date a mosquito to lay her eggs in my aquarium.  I know Summers and Loki would take good care of mosquito larvae.  surprise

Um, ... If you want to "date a mosquito" then pernaps you might want to rethink that desire before one of you gets killed.surprise

Which actual computer model is it?  I missed your earlier post and can't find it.  If we can figure out the CPU identity and the motherboard identity we can determine its reasonable maximum RAM speed.  Better to buy fast RAM just once, rather than second-guessing yourself and having to shelve unused RAM later.  It would also be useful to know the manufacturer and model of the RAM stick that came with it.

Well most likely the mosquito when I give him a hug.  I meant dare the mosquito to let Summers and Loki watch her larvae.  I'm prettsure they will take good care of them.

Yeah but N R Arts says "no meat on the shelves for 2 weeks " and depending on where they are at and when they are shopping it might not be readily available so beans are a good replacement protein source and they are usually cheaper then meat .Umm is there really any protein available in meat and no where else? cause I love my meat but I know other things can be used instead ,when the budget doesn't allow the luxury of meat ......in fact I remember chasing down a couple of chickens to make a  big pot of chicken and rice , but we don't always have space for chickens to run around in our yards to just catch for the pot ......

Saw in my email, amazon suggestion to buy a 3090 from the zotac store. Clicked on it, zotac is trying to sell it for like 4 grand. What the hell, even vendors be scalping now.

...that would be rough for me. i don't eat meat every day, however going that long without would have a noticeable impact on my energy levels.

As to other sources of protein, Chicken and Seafood, the latter which also high in Omega 3 are good alternate sources.  However with regard to seafood, it is getting expensive, even more so than meats from pasture raised animals and free range fowl, because of ocean warming (I don't bother with any factory farm raised livestock, fowl, or fish).

For myself beans and legumes need to be treated with a bit of moderation due to a certain "side effect" (though I love Cajun Red Beans & Rice).

Thank you for being considerate and keeping your personal methane levels in check...
With all these crypto coin jokers and NFT clowns heating up the planet with their Cryptocarbon and waste heat, I've been severely limiting my farting lately...
I feel like I'm the only one though, as lately it seems people are farting in public more than ever... I keep telling them to "think of the children", but then their kids start farting too and it's just a no win situation.
I don't want to be that one guy who's fart is the one that tips the scale to the point of no return.

Also apologies to anyone who doesn't find humor in flatulence.

It is really lowbrow humor, but my bar is set pretty low.

    Cat milk?....

Well, they really had to go there didn't they?... And it didn't take long either... first it was goat milk.... then soy milk, then almond milk, then oat milk, rice milk, hemp milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, flax milk, pea milk, macadamia milk, pistachio milk, walnut milk, peanut milk, pecan milk, banana milk, buffalo milk... and now cat milk?... I suppose it's "free range" cats... which is marketing spin for "stray cats"... what's next... squirrel milk?... pigeon milk?

I had a Gateway for 2 years cause we were strapped for money so I bought one off the shelf. It lasted 1 year doing this job. I kept burning out motherboards (x4). I will never purchase another Gateway nor a MSI motherboard. When I have systems built, I always get ASUS or Gigabite. They replaced every part in that computer and they just kept blowing. Thank god we had a warrenty on it. Something wasn't powerful enough.

Well I'm grateful to live alone ,so the gas effects of some foods aren't an issue for me , rice tends to clog my plumbing so I just take more fiber with it, there is also BeanO to remove some side affects ,personally ,I love my meat ,but sometimes it's not in the budget ,

...it's not just the "antisocial" aspect, but as you get older it can also be physically discomforting with feeling bloated (remember when Archie Bunker always asked Edith to get him a "bicarb"?).

I do have a fairly high amount of fibre in my diet as well.

So far haven't had the bloating issue , so I'll keep my fingers crossed ,wouldn't though that be gas in the stomach instead of the bowels ? Smaller portions and ..... ummm leessee ah Belching !! That's it Sorry sometimes I just can't help being socially incorrect .......

  • I found the manufacturer's page.  The computer is a GMK NucBox Mini PC with Intel core I-5 8279U.  RAM is 8GB 2666 MHz DDR4 expandable up to 32GB.  Gonna use the new computer until I can fix or salvage the old AMD FX-6300 computer that I bought in 2014 or 2015.  The other computers that I looked at were too expensive.  Cheaper coumputers that I found are too slow - two core Intel and AMD processors.

Ah, I think I found it.  It looks like it doesn't have much room for any additions but the extra RAM.  Nice looking package, compact.

  • It seems that the newer computer will be faster than my old desktop.  Article comapring benchmarrks: Intel Core i5-8279U vs AMD FX-6300

One advantage that the old desktop computer has is that I can put in an Nvidia video card that has CUDA cores to render scenes in Iray fast.  Ok, gonna get ready for bed now.
