Shader advice/help please

Any shader advice for room temp/runny yogurt? I need thick gels for some sci-fi stuff and post work only goes so far. Sticky slop drips do cast somewhat of a shadow.
The first image on a google search of "flax seed gel" is close, but a touch too thick, but livable. I'd like it in glowing blue ( high ambiance).

Which renderer?
If it's for 3Delight and Studio, then...Dimension Theory's Goop set for the AoA subsurface shader is probably what you are after...

I need it be this, but a little bluer.

I don't have Goop, but I would imagine that since it is on the base SSS shader that tweaking the subsurface color and scale is where to start.
The only thing changed between the two renders is the subsurface color
I still got a lot pf work to do, but I've gotten some good leads here. Does anyone know of a good tutorial for sss? I also would like to do blood splatters/containers. Any good blood shaders?

Well, with my wife being a nurse, her comments on all the blood shaders both available for artists use, in DS and any used in movies (if they just don't use gallons of the fake stuff) are..."Nope, not even close."
But, in Fisty's Liquids, from a couple of Christmases ago, there's a blood...

The Fisty's Liquid Updated is the one to get.
One thing I suggest, with 3Delight and SSS to get really strong effects, is shutting off the 100% limitation in parameter options, and crank that sucker up to 200+%.
This might be way off base, but wasn't there a product in the store that was honey? If the color and opacity settings were tweaked, could that look like runny yogurt?

That Zombie add-on pack is way cool!
You're welcome, I see you've put it to good use too :-)
For blood splats, try the "10 3D Blood Props" at this page:

Can't vouch for their realism, but you may find them useful.
P.S. Note that there's other content elsewhere on that site that's... well... what one might expect from somebody offering free blood splat props.
