I am just trying a faux book cover in the style of Mandalorian ending credits - you know sort of paintery. Here is my first try:

fax book cover

I rendered each character and background as separate passes and then processed them in Dynamic Auto painter in AZO preset. Then combined them in Photoshop.

I realize its all tongue in cheek,  but the back cover blurb is just funny enough that I'd skim through the pages if I saw this on a book shelf. From the best selling Author of "ONE"  Thumbs up.

Personally I think the filter is a bit over-done. Off-topic, my wife, a graphic designer, does burlesque under the name Lauren Lipsum.

  • Yeah, I should easy on the filter on the face.

  • Okay, okay, this is the last one, I promise.

Nice work... I think we appreciate the same line of humor...

The character Hairy Clogger was named after a real life drain obstruction my wife and daughters created... he wasn't as cute though.
