Best 3D viewer for Daz models

Hi,
Is it possible to use a third party 3D viewer phone app for Daz3D models that conserve the maps, or the main diffuse map at least?
Do you have a recommendation?

I'm not aware of anything that will view native Daz Studio files, though the format is documented so it might be possible for someone to write one.

not the easiest thing to Google seach because unfortunately it looks like something disgusting where an E has been replaced with a 3
it has a free version but I believe you need the pro one and I cannot link it as commercial software
No google specific problems when using Yandex search https://yandex.com/

the free version if link allowed, separate post if not
I think the OP was looking for a phone app, where as that looks like a desktop app, unless I missed it also having a phone version of it.
oh I missed the bit about being a phone app
yeah not likely
But if it had been suitable, a link would have been OK since it was solicited.
Google PlayStore has a app for 3d model viewing for android not sure if it will work for DUF files though https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dmitrybrant.modelviewer&hl=en_US&gl=US
and for Apple you can ue https://apps.apple.com/us/app/emb3d-3d-viewer/id1130786907
neither of these preserve text maps though
Unless your looking to preserve CAD files for iOS devices like phones and tablets then you can use this Shapr https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shapr-3d-cad-modeling/id1091675654
But none of these app still won't use .DUF files Daz Studio DUF file format is pretty exclusive to daz studio only . that is why you need a daz-bridge to everything, such blender, unity, or other 3d apps
Maybe the best option is some kind of VNC app that goes to the desktop with DS running.
Cool thanks for the answers, I'll check those apps and P3DO also.
I've previously found an app for Android called Emb3D which takes OBJ + MTL files to get a textured model. I was just wondering if someone more in tune with the domain had something better. :)
That's really a great idea. I'd certainly be interested.
I use MooTools & wondering it that's something they could/would be interesting in adding?

Out of curiosity why would there be a need to view a DAZ model on a phone app?
Phones and tablets are remarkably powerful computers - my little Lenovo tablet is a lot more powerful than the first PC I had DS 0.7 running on. So, it seems a shame not to be able to play with things like posing characters and creating expressions by posing the face rig. If anything a touch screen interface would be more intuitive than PowerPose. Drag and drop for clothes is implemented for the 'Love Nikki' game my daughter plays, just extend that a bit.
I accept that it's well nigh impossible for Iray quality rendering to be done on a mobile device, so it'd have to be limited to Filament. IIRC, Filament was intended as a lightweight renderer for mobile devices, so.. it's one leap of imagination that's not so impossible.
Regards,
Richard.
Following the 'improvements' and 'updates' of the site, maybe the next major revision of DS is browser based with an interface designed for mobile devices
Where specifically is the documentation? I've vaguely had it in my head for a while that if I ever bothered to learn Python, I might write an exporter for Blender (direct exports with working rigging would be such a boon for the development process), and not having to start by reverse engineering the format would be a big help.

@RichardandTracy summed it up pretty well already.
I'd add that for no great reason, the fun to "pocket" anything and everything. Also, Daz3D has a game component to it. Just like it is fun to craft and play with your creations. Think of some games like "The Sims" or "Terraria" where art and design are part of the gameplay. Right now I am trying to convince you that this is not like playing with virtual barbie dolls... Is it working? - No? - Yeah, neither for me lol
I'd be pretty keen to view some of my 3D renders in a limited or even gasp 'baked' fashion (not alterable except maybe fixed animation and view port).
Maybe its time to stop showing our friends jpgs, and let them know we're not using a 30 year old file format. :-)
A couple of months ago I had a dream that I found an app by DAZ on the AppStore that allowed me to set up DS scenes on iPad, but I couldn't get it to work on my iPad properly despite it having the magical "Works on this device" notice... it wasn't supposed to be able to render, just allow you to set up a scene and export it to a Desktop computer for rendering... but it had greyed-out menu options for rendering and all sorts of other features... the GUI was horrible and confusing, but it seemed to work... unfortunately there was no documentation or help feature, so figuring it out was terrible... eventually when I asked on the forums and nobody knew it existed and later on someone from DAZ wrote that it was a mistake and it shouldn't have been released yet, it was a clerical error and it was years away from official release... it was quickly removed from the AppStore and my iPad... I felt like I ruined it for everyone.
Get out of my dreams DAZ.
Maybe there's an app for this.. And according the the NFT page, live mocap streaming of a Daz character in a Zoom meeting is done and working!

Here's a demo of an app hooked up to Daz for mocap..
whilst that wouldn't surprise me if such an option became available in the future, I'm not going to speculate guess about such an occurance.
