How did I do something?

I rendered the first image a couple of years ago AND a few releases of DAZ ago. I started playing with the character positions and when I rendered today (second attached image), I lost that spotlight effect. How do I get it back?

anyone?

I have everything looking the way that I want in the editor but it renders without the spotlight effect

Try raising luminance of the spotlight.
  • Was one version of the render done in 3DL and the other in Iray per chance?

    e.g. 3DL lights won't show in Iray

    Both were done in IRAY

*Nevermind, your screenshot answered my question. Not sure what's going on. Maybe try changing to scene-only mode instead of dome and scene to see if the light shows up at all?

It isn't showing up in the shader tab so I'm not sure how to do that

Try to add a wall behind them and see if that helps.

Not sure what you mean by "in the shader tab". You will find the spotlight parameters in the Lights Tab.

Is the spotlight the one you saved in the older version you mentioned? If so, create a new spotlight and see if that works. Maybe some things chaged since that version.
