What is the difference between Genesis 3 uv and Genesis 2 uv

Basically the UV islands are cut and laid out differently. While older figure generations kept roughly the same island shapes - the newer mesh has different edge loops that warrant new island shapes.

One good way to visually see the difference is to download the figure's templates (available in your product library)

and bring them into Photoshop (or another program that supports layers) and overlay them on top of each other.

If you know your way around PS - you could even change the color of the wireframes for each figure to see the differences more clearly.

There was a change to the zones,which was the biggest change. Arms and legs are now on separate textures. Stuff like that.
