How do I put watermarks on images in Photoshop CS6?

How do I put watermarks on images in Photoshop CS6?  I want to say copyright 2015 and stuff like that.

Not sure where to post this but I thought the commons would work for now.

    "watermarks" are through an official service and it embeds itself into the plugin once you pay for the file, a true "watermark" is not a technique, It's service.

    If you want to make something that looks like a watermark create a new layer, add your text or image, drop the opacity on that layer and you can give it a "watermark" look by embossing or drop shadow or some other effect.

    you can search for "watermark brush photoshop" for an additional technique which I did not use so can't comment on it.

    Go on Youtube and do a search, there are plenty of video showing how to apply layers for all sorts of effects including text.
