Mons Pubis - Gen 2 Female

I have the Gen 2 Female morphs, but I don't see a morph for her mons pubis. G2F has no mons pubis and that jumps off the page as grotesque and repulsive.

Am I missing something or do I need to create my own Dformer?

Thanks,

Martin

    Make your own deformer.

or maybe this has what you need:

Unfortunately this is probably something that very few people requested, since we're now on Genesis 3. Even with the new elements on Genesis 3, it would fall to vendors or people to make this, so just roll up your sleeves and hop to it ;)

Mons Pubis fine tuning is awesome (and fast as a lightning) done with »Liquify« in Photoshop.

Have you tried this morph pack? I'm pretty sure it has one.

    Yes it does...

  • I guess I'm left *again* with trying to create a Dformer for a very small body part.

They should just sell DAZ Studio to someone who knows what they are doing.

Unfortunately, my current objective is fully animated short films and I don't know how to do postwork on minimum 1800 frame movies.

People outlined two potential solutions other than Dformer:

Shape Shift, which costs money but offers a lot of control.

DieTrying's morphs, which have a single (fairly decent) mons pubis morph and is free.

  • Wow! Is that a free download?

I'll try the free one first.

If it doesn't work well, I'll try Shape Shift when I get paid.

    Thanks,

  • Oh, do I have to do the drag-to-folders thing with the free one?

  • Oso3DOso3D Posts: 15,053

Yeah, just open it up, find Runtime (I think that's all that's in there), drag it to your My 3D Library folder and it should copy over, open up, and it will appear in paramenters under Actor > G1 > DieTrying

There's a bunch of good stuff in there. There's a morph pack for Genesis, G2M, G2F. I already have the pay morph bundles for head/body morphs from Daz store, so some of the morphs are a little redundant, but there's some stuff in DieTrying that I've seen nowhere else.

For example, I really like Nose Tip Up and Nostrils Turn Up. These are subtle little bits that I found lacking in the regular morph bundles, which is great for non-Caucasian noses.

    Another good tip.

I am trying to render a realistic Creole female (I'm from New Orleans).

    You're a good man, Charlie Brown ;-)

Ha! Thanks. Other recommendations, as money permits: Ethnic for Genesis (African, Native American, Asian) GenX2. With G2 addon, this gives you an amazing ability to migrate morphs easily between models. I like Ethnic for Genesis more than other general ethnic morphs, and with GenX2 you can migrate them to G2M and G2F. Mind you, that's a bunch of money. Note on Ethnic: I usually find it good to dial it in a little, and then fine tune the details. For one thing, all the morphs seem to leave the nose too long. I usually find it necessary to bulk up nose and nostril flesh size and push in the nose tip.
  • Another good suggestion, dude.

    You are a keeper!

  • I bought and installed the Ethnic product. Now I just need to combine French, African and Native American (epicanthic fold) with some precision and control.

Once I complete the process of rendering my character test movie several times, I'll be well on my way to creating a believable beauty.

Although ethnic models don't sell well for some reason...

    Looking forward to the results!

I basically spent 10 years away from CGI because I couldn't keep up with the cost of hardware and software updates, and what I made was terrible anyway. I came back to it a year ago and it's been like happy puppy dancing through a field time. And I'm eager and happy to share whatever I can to help others. Yay!

  • Sounds like a win-win-win to me.

The only lose is that I am technical and not an artist at any level. If you have any favorite renderfolk, send them my way please.

atm, I am trying to find a heel-maker to make specialized heels for sale here and Rosity on a diff thread.

Otherwise I have to relearn Hexagon again. It was pretty easy to do detail work in there when I used to post renders.

Any morph pack for the Genesises should not have a "Runtime" folder in it.  The important folder is the "data" folder, merge that with your existing "data" folder.

I'd been lurking but have come out and huge thanks and much props to Martin Leufray III, Male-M3dia, SlimerJSpud and timmins.william for sharing their knowledge.  Didn't even know that the Mons Pubis was a necessity blush

    Without MP

    with MP

It may be small or too subtle but those things can make all the difference yes

Other recommendations for G2F as money permits are Zev0 and Discobob's  Fit Control for Genesis and Genesis 2 Female(s), Posermatic's Natural Gravity Morphs for Genesis 2 Female(s) and NPM (Natural Petite Breast Morphs) for Victoria 6,  DraagonStorm's V4 Skins Auto Converter for Genesis 2 Female(s) and MallenLane's Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female.  In fact I didn't embrace G2F till Posermatic's morphs and the V4 skin converters came out because I like the quality of V4 skins more, as a rule.

without add on morphs created by 3thrd party artists and hours of trying you have also problems with G3F at this body region.
