Some of you guys might find it useful.
Feel free to ask any questions here or on my deviantart regarding this topic. I will try to answer them if I can : )
Just do not ask me how to animate with the rig, that is a topic for another time : )
But any questions regarding the process of setting it up or exporting the figure are most welcome!
And don't forget to send me links to your animations and feel free to check out mine as well : ) Link is on my deviantart page.

Thanks Toyen!! Hopefully I'll have a chance to go over it in the next few days.
Looks like a great tutorial, Toyen! I have not worked with G3 yet in Maya but have done alot of work with the first Genesis. There is a wonderful, inexpensive little script called GMH2 that you can use to convert polygon hair into Maya animatable, dynamic hair. This way, you can just bring in your character with hair on too then convert it to Maya hair with the script. It is a bit labor intensive depending on how much realism you want but, nevertheless, it can be done. Also, although Maya does not natively have facial controls, again, there are scripts out there, free and to buy, that will walk you through creating controls.
