Ok .. Great .. Anybody know where it is? I've done the following from : https://www.daz3d.com/blog/daz-studio-2025-alpha-release

But no can see .. But it seems the page isn't fully ready yet with various [Insert Link] here and [insert forum thread] there .. so, is it there yet? Or has the Web Guy jumped the gun?

  • If you haven’t already, download and install Daz Install Manager (DIM). It’s free and easy to do. [insert link]
  • Open Install Manager and log in with your Daz account.
  • Navigate to the “Download Filters” tab on the left
  • Scroll down to “Release Channel Tags” and confirm that the “Public Build” box is checked off. If it’s not, click to check it off. Then hit “Accept”.
  • Type “Daz Studio 2025” into the filter field.
  • Download and install.

    The page loads ok for me. As far as how to download it, it says: "The Daz Studio 2025 – Alpha Release is now available to all users via the Public Build release channel inside Daz Install Manager (DIM). "

    The page loads for me too .. but that's not the point 'm making ... What I'm saying is I don't see 2025 in DIM for downloading

    Oh I see, I'm sorry - I misunderstood (it's about midnight here and I'm half alseep). I'm not sure why it's not showing up in DIM. I would probably wait a while and try again. If it's not there in an hour or so you might put in a support ticket.

    I don't see it either and someone else reported no seing it either in the reporting thread, so it's likely a problem impacting everyone.

    I personnaly would not open a support ticket before Daz office opens in a couple of hours: if something was not set as it should to let people access the alpha, they won't have the opportunity to fix it before going back to office and because other are experiencing the same issue, it feels best to wait to see if Daz can fix it for everyone.

    Yeah, the blog guy probably has his 'puter set to Euro time .. and the tech guy who has to press "upload" probably hasn't got out of bed and arrived at the office yet

    Make sure your DIM is up to date, as well.

    I didn't see it until typing 'daz studio 2025" into the search bar, if that helps?

    Some PAs got it ahead of time, so it might not reflect what most of the customers are seeing.

    Do you have access to the Private Build channel ?

    Maybe it's available through that channel but not the Public Build one.

    How can I check that. Don't have the "Studio 2025" checkbox yet.
    My DIM version is 1.4.1.69 (64-bit) for Mac. Don't see any updated filters to download.

    Im assuming the problem is with the "Install Manager Default Filters". I uninstalled those, re-downloaded and re-installed. But instead of a Checkbox "DAZ Studio 2025" I ony find one for "DAZ Studio 5". Maybe that is the problem and the default filters need to be updated again?

    The current version of DIM is 1.4.1.87, so you have to update DIM (it should tell you an update is available as far as I remember).

    It won't solve the absence of Daz Studio 2025 (which likely will only be solved after Daz employees are back in office, in a couple of hours), but it's a start.

    Thank you for that. Manually downloaded .87 and re-installed.

    Gather a case of one team being ahead of the other, with one releasing information of a new product and the other team not being ready.

    The persons who can look into this won't be on till business hours for DAZ. It's an odd issue as some of us do have it and have downloaded from DIM.

    I've taken a look but can't see anything .. but is it possible we have to "buy" it in the store like we do Daz 4.x or the Beta?

    Wow, this all sounds very good!

    I must admit I was doubtful it would even be a local download, so it's great to see that it is.

    Just one question before I download and install it, though:
    So is this an alpha for the free, non-subscription version?

    We have .. Daz Studio 2025 is not in DIM yet ..

    Either you're getting a Cloudflare and resubmitting, or you're selecting "post" more than once rather than waiting for it to post.
