I'm very happy and proud to announce Dogs of War, a set of poses for DZ Fire's incredible CyberD Model 1.

There are 30 poses.  Mirror poses are provided for each pose and have the ending designation of "M".  Some poses were designed as pairings and shown in the promos are such. To help you see what can go with what, based on the promos, an S# designation is given to the poses.

I hope you enjoy them.  I'd love to see any renders you may do.

Thanks,

Cris

THe big question, is it compatible with the Daz dogs, the way the humanoid robots are compatible with V4 and M4?

    Those poses are terrific, Cris.

BTW, the main dog itself is both iray and 3delight, but the add-on accessories are iray only according to the page. Is that correct?

Could someone clarify the product's Poser compatibility?

The main product appears to be usable in Poser natively from the contents listing, although only a DSON Core Installer is lilsted (I don't use DSON - Studio doesn't work well with either of my computers).

Although the main product appears to be usable in Poser, the expansion looks like it isn't at all.

Am I right? - Without the expansion, I may still buy the main product but only if I can use it natively in Poser.

Many thanks in advance for you help.

DSON Core is the Daz Studio content, there's no Poser Companion File or Poser Core installer listed so it isn't (immediately) Poser compatible.

Just a few comments, It is compatable with the Mil Dog and it does come with both Daz Studio and Poser files. :D

These poses kick butt! They're even backward compatible with the milinium dog. Too cool Cris. :-D

These (doggies and poses) have come at the perfect time - just read a short story by a friend that features cyber-dogs, so I amy be 'forced' into doing a render :)

Hi, thanks for coming in with that - I'll pick that up tonoght. Could you confirm that the War Dogs isn't Poser compatible though, as no poser files are listed.

    Many thanks again.

As stated above it should be compatible with mil dog and comes with poser files. This means we should be able to use it in Carrara yeah.

Got to thinking about DZ saying they worked with the Mil Dog, so tried my http://www.daz3d.com/call-of-the-wild-mildog-on-the-job on DZ's CyberD dog and they work.  You'll want to adjust the tail and ears, but they all applied.  :)

  • Instantly bought when i stumbled on them.

But since i come from the moving picture departement my question is - are there animations for them or will i have to build them from scratch?

  • Cris PalominoCris Palomino Posts: 11,842

There are no animations.  Some poses with their mirrors can provide a good start to an animation; like the run poses or running into a jump, etc.  And thank you.  :)

  • I feared as much :)

But it will be fun piece of work. Thanks anyway for the great work.

This would make for a scary seeing-eye dog. Just saying
