Dude! your equipment is awesome, you put a lot of adjustment morphs just like the real stuff. I really appreciate that that , I can't thank you enough I'm so happy with this set .. I'm making a bunch of poses for this set.. So I'll post more renders as I set the poses up. I also convert some mats for Iray as well . really awesome set.

One more , this is really fantastic set
The uneven bars
In Iray, 1920 x 1080 @ 190kbs
These look pretty good! One thing I wondered about was what they looked like with figures in there. I didn't see any promos with actual figure next to the equipment. I like your shots. Thanks! It's definitely something to think about getting!
Are those figures from the Let's Get Physical for G2F? What's that interior?
It's an impressive set. And depending on the material zones, if you can hide the handles and their connecting parts without leaving huge holes in the horse itself, it can double as ye olde timey vaulting horse. (The new ones look ... kind of like the old ones got squashed over something round.)
And optimized for 3Delight only. That's unusual these days, though clearly, it translates to Iray without any issues, judging from the images above.
EDIT: And I just realized the stacked thing is also an olde timey vaulting horse. It's been so long since I saw one of those that I didn't realise what I was seeing.
Yes I am using the "Let's Get Physical" for G2F outfits and textures
The room is a older set called dance studio that I converted over to Iray
Thanks Cathy
this is a great set its scale able and has a lot of adjustment options. I asked hypnagogia at sharecg.com if he could make a set like this. I've been wanting to do a gymnastic animation for a while i just never had the equipment. he did a beautiful job.and what is really great was he even included the Safety mat's.
heres another one i did this afternoons I'm using g2f to make these poses for this set. so I can animated at a later date.

Thanks for that info.
I want to add my thanks for the gymnastics equipment too. Will try to do a render of it before the weekend.
Can the bars be made to flex? That would add a lot to the realism, especially with animation.
Well, you just got him another sale because I really liked what I saw in your images! I'm checking out with it in my cart now!
No Unfortunately they do not flex .. and the Safety mats don't have pressure morphs either.
Sorry about that..lol I know I really like this set so my feelings you will properly like it as much as I do too :)
That's okay. I was interested to start because I'm a gymnastics fan and I've been thinking it would be nice to do a set of gymnastics poses, but I had no equipment. Now, I have some equipment!
Aargh! That's something that is really noticeable when watching gymnastics, the bars flex a lot! I just can't see a realistic render with rigid bars. I wonder if I can do something with the geometry...
Thanks Ivy, your renders are awesome.. you do the set justice - better than what I can. I had submitted promos with people in them but they said they distract from the equipment... may have just been a polite way of letting me know my poses sucked :)
I appreciate you sharing your renders here so people can see the set with people. And its great to hear what others think about it.. gives me some great information on how to improve my future work.
Thanks!
Looks like a great set. I'm actually loading it up now to see what it looks like in Iray. It should be fun making use of the equipment!
As I said when I started this thread. I thank you for taking the time to listen to my suggestion & making this much needed Gymnastics Equipment.I'm happy you made it for 3dleight it easy to convert to iray when i need to.... this set is so much fun to play with I've been wanting gymnastics equipment like this for s long time. Oh! Thanks for making the safety mats too, I have had so many plans for projects that lacked the right equipment. I have started building my pose library for each piece in this set , and i love how you have so many adjustment options It was like you read my mind
Another Parallel Bars Render

For doing either the bar flexion or the weight indentations in the mats, standard DAZ D-Forms should work just fine.
Agreed on the mats, those will be very useful in so many places. I love having products that good for kitbashing!
I thought I'd put up my first render with the Gymnastic Equipment. Done in Iray. I went a little overboard with the powder as I'm still learning how to use that Touch of Dirt product. I'll have to do some more experimenting to tone it down and get rid of the harsh lines where I hid the parts of the geometry shell I didn't want visible. Overall, I think it turned out pretty good. I just hit the gymnastic equipment with the Iray Uber Shader. I didn't fool with redoing the textures, yet. They look pretty good straight out of the box for those who don't like fooling with customizing textures.
Very nice render. , it does kind of look like she had a fight with a powder puff and lost..lol
Yeah, I've seen some gymnasts with lots of powder spread all over when they finish a routine, but that's a bit much! :) I'm still working on it, but I like the looks of my latest go 'round with the Touch of Dirt. I've gotten rid of the harsh lines and now the powder looks a little more randomly spread on the legs and arms without looking quite so thick.
