Looking for a good 80s mohawk for women...fiber hair? dynamic hair?

in The Commons
Hi. I am looking for a good 80s mohawk for women and I am wondering how you would do it. None of the off-the-shelf products I have seen are exactly what I am looking for. (Think Claremont's mohawk Storm from the 80s xmen) I own zbrush and am willing to learn it for the purpose of creating fiber hair, but if there is another way or product you would recommend, i would be willing to try.
Unshaven 2 from Mec 4d is an option. She had created hair similar to this once, but I am not sure how to create it. LAMH might be an option, but someone would have to tell me for sure.
I am open to anything as this haircut is for the main character for my 80s cyberpunk graphic novel.

Would real hairy allow hair creation like this?
It should be reasonably easy with LAMH, actually. I'll try to make a quick render to see.
So is the idea that you want something a bit straighter than this? http://www.daz3d.com/gothic-hair-for-genesis-3-females (the skullcap/short hair surface can be turned off in the opacity sliders).
Thanks William!
Yes, vwrangler, that is what I am talking about, I would like that hair type, but straight. I may have to go in search of a hair modeler to teach me how to make it!
Any good?

Thanks Chohole! I had seen that one, but I can't see where it would have any morphs to control making the hair skinnier (squeezed together) like a punk rock mohawk.
RDNA has a free mohawk by Arki that might fit, not sure if its stil downloadable.

Could you rescale it narrower? You'll loose the shaved stubble on the sides of the head of course, so you would only seee the top part then.
Here's an experiment I made in the last hour. Had a few crashes (LAMH is great but can be a bit... finicky)
Ideally I'd shape the front a bit more or use a distribution map to make it a little less square, but what the heck.
I used Taper to get the front and back in, and the sides, then some various frizz options to get it to look a little more real. And then played with colors. ;)
There's a free one at most-digital-creations that's more the skinny tall type, but it would definately need re-textured.
Well, for what it's worth, Powerage just today added one called Punk Hair for Genesis 3 Female to his store at Renderosity that might work. It has some style morphs, but he doesn't really show what they do.
Also, to answer your earlier questions, neither Real Hairy nor Unshaven/Unshaven 2 will work for what you want. Neither of them are for generating hair; they're all specific pieces to be "worn" elsewhere on the body.
