Thanks, Robert. BTW, I don't know if you wanted Deadpool's swords to be curved like that, but when I was working on Snake Eyes with the same outfit, I noticed that when I fit the sword and then posed the figure with a twisted head and neck, the handle became badly misshapen. So I deleted it and loaded it anew, and this time parented it to the chest without fitting it. It worked out better.
So glad you like her! I used the coat from https://www.daz3d.com/piratess-for-genesis-2-females and turned off opacity for everything but the coat fabric itself. Then I just applied a leather shader and changed the diffuse color to what I wanted.
The next tims I use him, I'll do that thanks.
I don't know much about these characters, to be honest. I was trying a theater technique to make Gentleman Ghost transparent, and I added her as an afterthought. He looks like he's getting ready to shoot her in the back - not much of a Gentleman. Is that something the character would do?
Anyway the trick worked, and didn't. Coincidentally it's called the Pepper's Ghost illusion. Instead of the Ghost figure, you're seeing a reflection of him in a glass pane set at 45 degree angle. He's really standing behind the crates. In real life, he'd appear to be transparent. Not so much in DAZ, but I'd know better if I'd set the room up properly. I should have set up a mirror image of the visible portion of the room, and posed him in that. As it is, you see nothing of the room behind the glass, only the reflection.
You can definitely do a Pepper's Ghost illusion in DS (I've done one before - it was in 3DL, which works having a transparent plane with 100% reflection) - not sure of the settings in iray - 0% opacity might not work, but it should still work with the right materials/lighting).
Here's a couple... Big fan of both Spider-man: Homecoming and the old Nick Hammond tv series(warts and all). Soo... MCU NICK HAMMOND SPIDEY!
The Spiderman Swing.
Sweet! Where'd you get the webline? I 'd like to get that.
The web line is a free brush for Clip Paint Studio (fka Manga Studio 5). I haven't been able to find a DAZ or Poser equivalent.
Ah. I used a freebie posable rope. Which is pretty much what was used in the tv series anyhow. :)
That's awesome. I have Clip Studio, but barely used it and everything I search for in the Studio store or whatever it is comes up in Chinese. Can you tell me what key words you used to find that brush? Too bad no one has created a poseable prop of any kind for spider webbing. That would be ideal.
It's not as nice looking as this brush, but the freebie posable rope I used for my Spidey's webline works fairly well. I retextured it to look like a webline. Found it on Sharecg: http://www.sharecg.com/v/49469/gallery/11/Poser/Posable-Rope-for-Poser
CPS is developed by the Japanese. I pull up. Google translate. I convert my search term from English to Japanese. Then I copy and paste the Japanese word(s) into CSP and then I get the results I want. Sometimes you have to experiment with different search words. To get the brush I used, I think I just searched for web (Japanese).
My First official render inspired by you guys and Mr. Terrific
I have a question about the G1 Supersuit, supersuit for G1 that autofit doesn't work really well it doesn't fit actually, I'm thinking not getting GenX2. My questions for GenX2 are: when I add my Morphs to G1 will I lose the use of my G3 hair and clothing?
Would it be better just get one of the autofit plugins (wear them all) if I can't use hair for G3 on G1
I have one of the autofit puglins and it works pretty well. With hair though, you can place it on the head manually and then parent it to the figure's head. I've done this with A3's long hair a lot.
Captain America: WWII Air Drop.
Always glad to help.
Think I posted this in the wrong forum thread a while back. It's Cable. I need to work on the face a bit more.
Here's Superman trying out the newest version of my skin and eye shaders.
My not so great attempt at doing Batman.
Captain Marvel
Just revisiting an old reality scene and reworking it along with rendering it in Iray now.
That looks AWESOME FSMC!
Thanks!
Jean Grey
Wow! That is amazing! Did you kitbash that suit? Or was it made in something other than DAZ? I have been searching and searching all over for items to make a good Wolverine character.
Chuck for Gen8 looks like a good start to making an Injustice 2 inspired Joker character. Just gotta find the right clothes. Any ideas?
Thanks! the figure is from one of my games, Deadpool I believe. It was extracted in .FBX, then loaded into max and posed, then subdivided and imported into DS.
