Looks normal to me, the only extra discount I see mentioned for this product is the additional 10% off for PC members.

Not sure I am getting the extra 10% off on any of the items, including this one.

I'm getting 37% off in the cart, which is the default 30% off for being brand new, plus the 10% off for me being a PC+ member. Looks okay here.

  • Question about this set. Does this work with 3DeLight rendering or is it strictly IRay?

    Iray only.

Anybody has it yet? I have most of his other lighting sets and they are very good.

Easily swap iRay environment dome lighting to go from a High Key studio setup to a Low key one and everything in between.

  • Just bought it. Was sold on that 45minutes explanation video. Unfortunately I still don't have a machine really capable of those shiny iray viewport previews.

Colm Jackson in his video talks about using atmospheric effects in a "small" set due to the size of the required enclosure without showing an example.  How hard or easy are the gobo atmospheric effects to make work in a not-so-small set like The Brass Pole Nightclub or Basement Entertainment Room ?  I mean removing the ceiling is an obvious requirement, as are using scene subsets, but are there other obstacles to overcome?

The idea is to have lighting for a dance floor and band performance.  I like this package because of all the other nifty stuff included, but I'm wondering if a combination of IDG Iray Gel Lights and Gobos and Cinematic Light FX plus Atmosphere  or Atmocam2 would provide more flexibility in that kind of space.  I mean I could do a lot of that stuff in post, but I'd like to see how much I can do in the render alone.

I loaded one of the scenes supplied with Render Studio 2: Volumetric, zoomed out so that the Atmosphere Prop was visible and then loaded two separate scenes.  Hopefully this might give you an idea of if the scedne you want to use will fit.

First scene is Bar Interior 2018  - what you can see there is the entire bar room.

Second scene is Urban Future 5 which is huge, but the Atmosphere Prop covers a large amount of a street.

That answers my question!  Thank you. smiley
