Thats the main reason I want it as it seems you can use most/any brush while cloning which gives way more control than something like dynamic auto painter ..hopefully ;-)

Yes, I am also a little bit disappointed with Dynamic Auto Painter capabilities.

Below is my quick, first try of auto painting feature of Corel Painter 2019 applied to Adria:

These possibilities in Corel Painter will keep me busy for a while.

So many possibilities. Begin to understand, why people like this program so much.

Thanks. I am overwhelmed with the possibilities at the moment.

Another try. Mister Mushroom with his friends: Baby Barry and Bad Birdy.

Well I can't pass up on this bundle - I've not used Corel Painter since I got a good deal on version 9. What I have been using is ArtRage, which  is another program of the same kind, though with a very friendly interface. Rather than using anything like the clone brush (ArtRage has the same sort of thing) or the 'auto painter', I prepare a render using some sort of simplification filters (such as Cutout in photoshop, though I'm mostly using the old Topaz Simplify) and then attack the result in artrage with a knife and the odd brush - I'm sure the same workflow will work as well in Painter. Here are a couple of examples.

I believe that PaintShop Pro also has some very good art filters now, so I would suggest folk don't forget to check that out as well as you're getting it in the bundle.

    Pretty cool looking Philebus!

I do want a more painted look eventually but a quick airbrush and re-colour experiment tonight.

Very nice. I would also like to achieve such smoothness.

But for now, another painter experiment, applied to Jayde - https://www.daz3d.com/bd-jayde-for-teen-josie-8

I've had pretty good results with a few of Dynamic Auto Painter's filters:  Reacrylic, Acry-Real, and Golden Age.  I then take the results into Photoshop and put them overtop the original render then reduce the opacity to 80% or so to bring back a little of the detail.  I like Topaz Studio's Adjust and Clean filters as well.  With previous versions of Corel Painter, I've never gotten results that I liked with the auto paint.  If anyone has some suggestions on settings, I'd love to hear them.

Here's a small version of an image I did using with two of DAP's filters as different layers, plus a bit of Photoshop:

That looks nice. I have used DAP for many of my renders directly, but have not combined the different ones in Photoshop.

Maybe that is the key to success with DAP.

Corel Painter 2019.  Curious as to what it's like to use and what others have got out of it. Love to get some inspiration because I'm grabbing it while it's still on offer for 25 dollars laugh

Holy s#!+ thanks for this, I actually feel guity as this is a steal for $25!

Now as soon as it finally downloads I'll be much more happy!

EDIT Still at 0% is anyone else having issues for painter 2019 downloading? I hope it's a temporary overloaded server issue!

EDIT: GREAT! None of the programs are downloading/installing at ALL! Buyer beware... Ironically, people who didn't pay for it get to download it no problem! angry

    EDIT: It downloaded!

If it keeps borking on the download, try clearing your cache or using a different browser.  You may have a corrupted partial download messing things up.

Thanks for the advice, but it's not the program's exe that's having issues it's paintshop 2019/2020 installation files themselves that need to be downloaded, of which they aren't! I'll give it another go in a bit, though the main suite has DL'd/Installed!

EDIT: I have Windows Firewall Control installed, so I have to set it to low filtering in order for it to download, (it did) even though I have the main exe file ok'd for my firewall, seems the exe file that needs to be approved is unpacked during install!indecision

Thanks for posting about this.  You get a LOT for USD25.  I use Affinity Photo for 2D, but it never hurts have additional tools for things like particle effects, animated gifs, etc.

Also, in Paintshop pro there's a fun little plugin called PictoPainting.  Click get more plugins and it's available for free :-)

Couldn't get it to work at first but luckily a youtuber, Levifiction gave me a solution...

"There is no guarantee this will work for you, but for some people the version of tensorflow (The ML library P2P uses) doesn't support their processors. So the current proposal is to replace the version of tensorflow that comes with P2P with an older version. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. You can see my very quick instructions on this in the last post on this page: https://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=64218&start=105#p367930

worth a try if anyone else has problems yes

Please excuse this question as I'm trying to ask this in a manner as compliant with the TOS as possible... apparently I've already made one mistake today...

As far as the $25 bundle is concerned... people have purchased it without any issues... correct? I'm correct in this understanding?

It works, the keys are all good and whatnot, everything is happy and great right?

    Thank you for any answers.

Hm, PictoPainting is not free for me, they say it's $29.99 Canadian. But I am not using PSP 2019, mine is still 2018. All I get is an offer to upgrade to PSP 2020 at around $48.

You could get PSP 2020 as prt of the $25 Corel HumbleBundle.

WARNING: The Corel HumbleBundle offer expires tomorrow

Ok, that is worth it. Bought -- I am delighted that it's supporting charity, I always donate to Make-a-wish/Children's Wish, etc. Now to download, install & play. smiley

Yes, it is really hard to accept, that such a bundle could come at such low price.

Has sent you PM, as well.

Just checked my order history. The first bundle I have bought from them was for Unity, last year in September.

It was also an incredible offer. After that, I am buying from them different bundles from time to time.

It makes me feel good, that my hobby interests, support different charities, as well.

Just created an auto VanGogh layer in Painter, mixed it with original render from Daz Studio and flatten the image in PaintShop Ultimate.

Then has applied Pic To Painting effect.

Great. Hope to see some images created by you, after you get familiar with the programs.

Yes, I have bought it in Corel bundle at HumbleBundle, but the license for Corel Painter 2019 is valid for 1 year only.

One can upgrade it to the full version, but at the not so low additional cost.

I am not complaining though, because I also got full version of Corel PaintShop Ultimate 2020 and the other nice programs, as well.

One also support some charities, so it is definitely a good deal for me.

Yeah, this is wrong. It's a perpetual license :). A good thing! :)
