Mwokee: The PC+ for a day sale. Buy 2 of them and it reduces the basket further.

Ok... but... buy two 2.20 items I don't want and the doggy items drop in price. But the overall total is $1 less from before. These sales that are contingent on buying additional items are great when you want all the items, horrible when you don't. Looks like the wishlist waiting game this time around.

I wish they’d add some more items to the pc plus for the day.  I am down to naughty nurse and hot secretary.

i'm not finding the new dogs all that realistic. There is just something "off" with them overall. perhpas with some postwork that I'm not capable of producing.

Shepherds have larger ears.  The Husky looks sort of like a husky but if you do some research on line you'll see what I mean.  The Gray Wolf's eyes look dead to me. There is something off about all three breeds.

PAs seem to regularly forget that they get additional discounts, so no amount of cart fu will get your price down to what Oso’s paying.

    How so?

  • Oso3DOso3D Posts: 15,053

Gordig: PAs get a little extra discount but it doesn't always apply and it didn't apply in this case.

    Well, then.

Stupid doggo question: Does Dog 8 have a "non-male" morph?

  • nicsttnicstt Posts: 11,715

    Looks good.

Not buying anything doggy until we get a cat.

A little less than $10 for a dog breed with dhair sounds like a great price to me, and with loyalty and PC+ you can get it even lower.

    Snatched it up fast!

If you're doing it right, its $4.50 per breed after GC and all stackups.

    Buy 2x 2.20 items, purple banner, $6 PC+ coupon, and 20% GC.

I can get it to $5.92 for the new breeds, and $5.59 for the old breeds I have in my cart, by:

    1) having all three new breeds in the cart (30% off new items from the purple banner)

    2) adding two PC+ for a day items to my cart (20% off the other items in my cart)

    3) paying with a gift card (20% off the total purchase)

    4) being a PC+ member (30% off the old breeds, because the ones I chose are all DOs, also unlocks the gift card offer)

edit: ah, wasn't thinking about coupons. That explains it.

editagain: and the $4.50 per breed thing isn't quite accurate; it's an average of $4.50 per item, with the PC+ for a day items dragging the average down.

the husky not too husky looking ... but mabe it  depends on what breed it is. Usually the tail curls as well.

Definitely agree about the tail. There are a few local huskies I sometimes see taking their owners out for a walk (yes, that is the right way round) and they all have tails that could take corks out of bottles.

Some more variant textures to go with the morphs would also be nice; all three breeds have a huge variety of coat patterns, but it looks like the husky is the only one to have a colour selection.

Body hair is too short.  The legs are really the right length, but they look too thin since the hair isn't bulking them out sufficiently.

As usual DAZ can't win. With this type of criticism, I wouldn't hold my breath for more breeds. Might be more helpful to try anf find solutions to percieved issues, like a fuller coat, tail curve, etc

I put in another thread that I'd love to see a Growing Up product for the Dog 8. I don't see why Zevo or another talented PA couldn't make morphs with sliders to create puppies of varying ages and more breeds! Or even turn the dog into a cat or rabbit!
