WHERE do we report Asset Conflicts (i.e. two different assets using the same name.duf/name.duf.png ?

in The Commons
I have a few conflicts, and not sure where to report... for example
Juniper for Mika 8
https://www.daz3d.com/catalog/product/view/id/50375
and
Juniper HD
https://www.daz3d.com/catalog/product/view/id/57945
Both use the same name.duf in the G8 Character Folder
Jenifer.duf
Also
Olivia HD for Genesis 8 Female
https://www.daz3d.com/catalog/product/view/id/53695
Characters/Olivia.duf
and
Oliva for Genesis 8 Female
https://www.daz3d.com/catalog/product/view/id/58743
Characters/Olivia.duf
Use the same Name.duf
I am guessing its not possible to have both loaded at the same time...
Where are these confilcts reported... if at all?
Thanks, in advance

You can simply install one, rename the character .duf and then install the other. Problem solved. Or you can use the separate shape and material files in the sub folders to load the character and then save a character preset.
If you want to report the issue use the Contact us - Submit a Ticket link (Bottom of the page). Reporting would be useful as they might eventually fix it

Ok... I just tried that... Unsuccessfully
jimminy crickets... I have to go through 28 different Captchas, and fill out 30 blocks on the form... and if any that are "NA" or not what the form wanted, I have to go through the Captcha again and start the process over.
So I'll just say "I tried" and move along.
Click on the login 'button' at the top of the screen, it should automatically take your DAZ login and then you avoid all the capthas
If anyone is keeping tabs...
Salem for Aiko 8
https://www.daz3d.com/salem-for-aiko-8
and
Salem for Genesis 8
https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/salem-for-genesis-8-female/127779
Share the same character/salem.duf
I'd say the last example is a bit unfair. While DAZ certainly should avoid name conflicts amongst the products in their store, doing that for products in other stores would be a logistical nightmare.
I had actually queried the vendor at Rendo on this one and they replied, "Hmm.. I didn't know there was another character with the same name." after I complained about them both being in the same directory along with all of BOTH their morphs, textures, etc. In this case, a directory structure of /vendor name/Salem G8F would have fixed it, but it never happened. (I know I *COULD* do it myself, but then what happens when later there is an update and I forget that I had to fiddle with the folders?) Love both characters so uninstalling one in favor of the other was a no go. We adapt. Life goes on.
Unfortunately it tends to be more and more a rare thing that PAs keep their product names and files well organized. I really appreciate those guys who use a short prefix. Avoids name conflicts and keeps files together.
Haven't bothered to check and see how important this matter is, but there is one PA here who actually puts out their very own conflicting files. Usually for nails and/or eyelashes. Files are not all the same size or age ... and everytime another character of theirs is added to the harem or is reinstalled the files get overwritten again.
I'm sure there I some that are consistent and I just don't notice them, but many seem to make a habit of using a prefix for the character, but not for the associated materials, or vice versa.
Well... it may be a bit unfair for bookkeeping regarding other sites, but still, it may be helpful for those trying to track down log mischeif... and well... its just info.
For example,
Charlie HD for Genesis 8 Female
https://www.daz3d.com/catalog/product/view/id/60453
and
Charlie for Genesis 8 Female
https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=134642
Use the same Character/name.duf
FWSA Maisie HD for Victoria 8
https://www.daz3d.com/catalog/product/view/id/49659
and
Maisie for Teen Jane 8
https://www.daz3d.com/catalog/product/view/id/61341
use Characters/Maisie.duf
