I remember seeing this come up a while ago, but did we EVER solve the mystery of WHY this genesis 2 character has this horrendous price????

There was some musing that it was a gift that DAZ was giving to folks, slowly moving its way through their ranks, and the high price was to prevent anyone from buying it, so only the folks who had gotten the gift offer had it. (One person suggested birthdays, but that was never confirmed. I think that'd be a cool idea, personally.) The high price was essentially necessary because Magento had/has no other way of preventing folks from buying an item if they don't have the right token.
That was, at least, the most plausible explanation.

Great looking skin textures, but wow, the price is a tad optomistic.

oh I asked this too fair while back some said it was a glitch in pricing I see it's still pricey was thinking maybe she was priced meant to be for something like those extended licence deals so she could be used as a gaming character or something. Maybe she's a virtual reality gal that comes to life and interacts with you like Max Headroom or Holly from Red Dwarf or licenced to be life sized 3D printed as a real doll like the one in the movie Lars and the real girl, wont be long till we have ones that interact with us they are working on it the Japanese created robots with emotions and can learn

I've had her in my wish list for a long time. I'm coming up on one year using Daz so I'm hoping it will be an aniiversary gift for me... if some of the above suggestions are true. Sure hope so!
Basicaly she is priced to NOT sell. It is the only way to prevent people from purchasing something that they want to be given out as a gift or that they need to limit to a subset of users.
makes you wonder what qualifies to be given a gift? Certainly not a character I would have bought at any price.
Artemis3D is the vendor- and when did she leave DAZ?????? She wasn't in the list of vendors, so I searched my Art Studio thread (tons of products showcased of hers) and her store is gone.

Yep, I looked up a character and found Belladzines. (Frankly, Artemis3d is so much prettier IMO)
A Genesis 3 Female version would be cool.
wasn't it around the same time they were give away all those free 3d printed figurines? Oh well in either case I wasn't included in the numbers for the free gift of either product.

and airbrushed playmates... I will say this about Bijou: the last promo frame with the full lenght pose is ackard looking as hell...

and having suffered through a pc sale where I own everything in the bundles and having no more need for another varient "sexy" female... I suppose I will probably find it as a gift and daz will wonder why I'm not enthused....
Then there are folks like me, who think she's very pretty and would love to have her in their runtime. If she shows up for $2.99 it's an instant buy for me. And if they gave her to me as a gift, I'd be doing a happy dance!
So... if they give her to you, and you don't want her... I'll be happy to take her off your hands.
+! I second that. Its not a photorealistic skin from what I can see but she is still a great looking character and I wouldn't pass her up because of a pose.
She might be using a new Vendors name since she used Artemis3d over at Rendo, and I agree I like the Artimis3d name more.
Honestly, she's not that exciting. To me she's just like all the rest of the caucasian girls crowding this place. And her facial features are off, but not entirely off to give her character. I remember looking at the price, believing it was a typo and that she'd come down to 14 or smth within a few hours. But since I never even considered her I forgot about it.
Bella Designs I believe is the way to say it... beautiful designs...
Aha, that makes sense. Whatever her name, she's a wonderful vendor and one of my favorites.
